Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has passed a major milestone at the domestic box office after a month in theaters. The Tim Burton legacy sequel sees the director reuniting with multiple stars of the original 1988 horror-comedy, namely Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse, Catherine O'Hara as Delia Deetz, and Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz. The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice box office opened at the domestic box office with $111 million, which marked the third-highest debut of the year, and quickly rose past $400 million worldwide.

Per Deadline, as of Saturday morning, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is projected to close out its sixth weekend in theaters with a 3-day gross of $7.3 million at the domestic box office. This lands the movie at No. 3 on the chart for the weekend, above the previous weekend's debut Joker: Folie à Deux, which is cratering during its sophomore outing. This also brings the legacy sequel's cumulative domestic total to $275.8 million, making it just the fifth 2024 release to pass the $275 million milestone, behind Dune: Part Two, Despicable Me 4, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Inside Out 2.
