NappyValleyNet.com, the hyper-local mothers community for SW London announces new property search service

new school-centric property search and real mums’ school reviews all now available on the largest parenting website dedicated to London

NappyValleyNet.com, the hyper-local mothers community for SW London, has announced the launch of its new property service that lets parents check exactly which schools’ catchment area a property falls within - taking a huge headache out of house hunting.

The new feature lets parents see accurate and up to date school catchment area information combined with online property listings, thanks to partnerships with PrimeLocation, Marsh & Parsons, Hamptons, Savills and Douglas and Gordon.

By combining council supplied catchment area information with property listings from PrimeLocation, users are now able to search for their next home or see if their current home lies within particular school catchments. Visitors to NappyValleyNet.com can view their local area with properties available to rent in blue, or for sale in purple. The catchment area of each school is shown as a highlighted circle, with the approximate size of the area shown – so users can see at a glance which properties fall within the catchment of which schools. The search tool even shows different kinds of admission policy the school has; for example, schools with priority areas are shown in a different colour to schools which offer places to any child applying for a place.

Susan Hanage (aka Annabel), founder of NappyValleyNet commented, “education is a big issue for all parents, and some of our local schools have catchment areas that are incredibly small; they’re also constantly changing, so it’s incredibly hard for parents to know which schools might be available. Just that information on its own is invaluable; however when combined with our users own robust feedback on schools which they’ve been giving since 2009, SW London families now have everything they need to make informed choices about such an important topic.”

PrimeLocation's Jamie Jaggard added “We’re delighted to partner with NappyValleyNet. The powerful combination of their community, our property listings and a schools-centric search function now delivers a service for their users which we know is much in demand. It’s an innovative use of PrimeLocation’s relationship with local agents and we’re excited to see where this partnership will go next.”
