Boy, three, woman in her 30s and man in his 40s die in incident in west London house

A couple who died at their West London home along with their three-year-old son last night were heard arguing during lockdown, neighbours have revealed.

Scotland Yard today said the three bodies were discovered at the modern tower block on Clayponds Lane in Brentford shorty before 1am this morning.

Residents this afternoon confirmed the parents as Malaysian-born Tamils, Kuha and Poorna Kaamesha Sithamparanathan, in their 40s and 30s respectively.

Amid 'concerns for the occupants' welfare', officers forced entry into the fourth-floor flat last night and found Mr Sithamparanathan suffering with stab wounds.

Paramedics attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are not seeking anyone else in connection to the deaths.

The family's Cockapoo dog, which they would often be seen walking, is also believed to have been found dead.

Shocked neighbours today recalled hearing blazing rows at the Sithamparanathans' home over the past few months.

One neighbour who lives on the fifth floor told MailOnline: 'During the lockdown I could hear them arguing a lot.

'I could hear her screaming at her husband, telling him to take his medicine. Then on another occasion, he threw them out of the window, and I looked down and could see them on the ground.'

Another neighbour added: 'Things got really bad between them, especially during the lockdown.

'They are one of the few couples with a young child in our block and you could hear the screaming at each other, sometimes for very long periods.'

The couple, who married in Kuala Lumpar in 2015, also owned a Cockapoo, which is also believed to have been killed in the incident.

Jamila, who lives in a neighbouring block said: 'It's tragic. They loved their dog and I'd see them all the time taking him out for walks. They were a lovely family and none of this makes any sense.

'The officers told me that there was blood all over the flat and that the dog had also been killed.'

Forensic officers in protective suits were spotted entering the police cordon this afternoon.

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating and a post-mortem examinations will be scheduled for all three people in due course.

Sheri Diba, who has lived in the building for seven years and said that it is a 'nice area', spoke of her shock on hearing the news.

She told reporters: 'I could not imagine someone is dead in this building. It's a very nice area, very nice building, I never had any problem. I'm really shocked.'

The average house value on the road is £440,000 and it is located near Kew Bridge train station as well as the new Brentford FC stadium.
