Liverpool fan hunted by police after yobs snorted white powder from officer's hat
Police are hunting a Liverpool football fan who appeared to snort cocaine off an officer's hat when celebrating the club's Premier League title win.
Merseyside Police released a picture of the suspect who is believed to have been recorded sniffing white powder in the city centre on June 26.
Shocking footage showed a group of grinning thugs - one named 'Joe' - showing off the cap with a line of white substance on top before one inhaled it.
A huge probe was launched and a 23-year-old man was yesterday arrested on suspicion of theft, before being released under investigation.
A 24-year-old man was also taken into custody on Friday, before he was let out.
It came after police on Friday released pictures of 13 people they were hunting over trouble during the wild celebrations.

A force spokesman said: 'We would like to speak to the man pictured and urge the public to get in touch if they recognise him.'
Liverpool's first Premier League title win in 30 years was overshadowed by violence as thousands gathered on Pier Head.
Thugs attacked officers and launched fireworks at the iconic Liver Building as the city centre descended into chaos.
Mayor Joe Anderson shared a video of the unrest and said 300 fans 'fought for over two hours' with police into the early hours of the morning.

Anderson's video showed yobs shoving officers and hitting them with projectiles, with one man restrained on the floor.
He said he was left heartbroken by the 'ugly scenes' and said the 'mindless behaviour' damaged the city's reputation.
He continued in a statement the next day: 'An occasion for celebration has been turned instead into headlines of disgraceful behaviour.
'Our city is, rightly, proud of the phenomenal success of one of our football teams. But the time for public celebration in crowds is not now.
Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson said he was left heartbroken by the 'disgusting behaviour'
'Our city remains in the grip of a major public health crisis and this behaviour is wholly unacceptable. Let me be clear – lives are at risk.
'Seeing thousands of people congregating at the Pier Head into the early hours and the ugly scenes shared on social media afterwards was heartbreaking to see.
'Fireworks, flares and tons of litter, amount to nothing but disrespect for our city. This mindless behaviour has the potential to damage Liverpool's reputation – both the club's and the city.'
He added: 'I don't believe this is how the team would like their achievement to be remembered.'
