Police have blasted 'reckless' idiots risking their lives by posing for selfies on top of sheer cliffs and waterfalls.
The Devon Rural Affairs policing team has shamed people in dangerous locations, seemingly snapping pictures for social media sites like Instagram and Snapchat.
One such image shows an adult crouched on a ledge dwarfed by the huge waterfall and vertical drop he is posing above.

On Twitter, the Devon Rural Affairs policing team said: 'Seeing a lot of reckless antics on North Devon cliffs.
'No photo is worth the risk. Your actions put not only your life in danger, but those who have to attempt to rescue you, or in some cases recover your body.'
