They appeared in Love After Lockup season 2 and had two major issues related to religion and Alex's ex. The couple met with the help of Glorietta's third cousin, who was serving time behind bars alongside Alex in Sacramento County Main Jail in California. She quickly fell in love with the convict while he was in prison, and Alex got down on one knee and proposed to her to marry him.

Alex and Glorietta dated for about eight months before Alex was released. However, Glorietta was always uncomfortable with Alex's closeness with his ex. Also, the two often argued about their different religions. Alex was raised as a Catholic, but then converted to Islam because of his ex-partner. Being a Catholic, Glorietta wished her boyfriend would convert back, which didn't happen. While it's possible that the duo faked their relationship for the cameras, there was a genuine possibility they would get married. Given that Love After Lockup might be fake, are Alex and Glorietta still together today?

Alex Was Different On Love After Lockup Than In Real Life

Glorietta revealed that her prison beau was a "different person" on-screen. She said Alex worries about his "image" and puts on a show for the cameras. He intentionally acts in a certain way that he isn't bothered about their relationship at all. According to her, the inmate wants to portray himself as a "big-time player."

Soap Dirt reports that the California native revealed that Alex and Glorietta were together after the season ended. Unfortunately, they broke up, and after that, her boyfriend went behind bars once again in November 2019. This time, he was charged with nine felonies. Initially, he was pulled over for expired registration. However, he was also charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition and heroin and meth.

To top it all, the criminal also violated his probation at the time, adding even more time to his sentence. Glorietta isn't in contact with him for months, but she is hopeful for a reconciliation. And she hopes that her reality TV lover would be "home real real soon." But, considering his charges, he had to go back to jail. While talking about her relationship status, she didn't reveal much and said that she wants to keep it "on the hush." However, Glorietta and Alex are not together today.

Glorietta isn't crying after her relationship with Alex fell through after Love After Lockup. In May 2023, rumors surfaced that Glorietta was dating The Bachelorette's Josh Seiter after his tumultuous breakup with 90 Day Fiancé star Karine Staehle. According to In Touch Weekly, Glorietta slid into Josh's direct messages on Instagram, where the two struck up a relationship. After meeting in person, Josh asked Glorietta to be his girlfriend. However, there was some serious drama afoot in their relationship.

Glorietta hasn't posted about Josh on her Instagram since April 2023, when she was quite active. At that time, there were rumors going around that Josh was dating 1000-lb Sisters Amy Slaton. While untrue, it's probably the rumors had a negative impact on her relationship with Josh. They don't seem to be together anymore, given Glorietta's penchant for posting. Josh was involved in a death hoax in August 2023, so he may be more focused on that than a tumultuous relationship.

Glorietta and Alex had a rollercoaster journey on Love After Lockup. Despite accusations they were faking their relationship for the show, they did try to make it work. However, they're likely better off apart. Glorietta appears to be single and capitalizing on her fame, and may still be in a relationship with Josh.
