How To Complete Dusa's Favor In Hades (& Earn Her Companion)

Certain characters you meet in Hades have favors you can complete to gain companions, including the eternally busy housekeeper of the House of Hades, Dusa. Beyond the main story, side quest romances and the game's gift system let you form bonds with other characters. Following the storyline of Dusa allows Zagreus to become closer to her, giving you a reward to use on future runs.

Items called Nectar must be given to characters to increase their bond with Zagreus, unlocking new dialogue and stories you can explore as you build relationships in Hades. You need to give Dusa 6 Nectar to see her ask a favor by maxing out the first level of the character's bond. You can find Dusa around the House of Hades between runs, usually cleaning different spaces in the Underworld hub.

At first, Dusa is nervous and star-struck when Zagreus comes to talk to her. You can check the Fated List of Minor Prophecies to see if Dusa's favor is available after you have given her enough Nectar and talked to her a few times.

To complete Dusa's favor, you must finish the "A Place of Revelry" task on the Fated List of Minor Prophecies menu. This prediction can be a little vague, but the actual requirements are pretty simple for the main character of Hades. The hint provided by the prophecy states that Zagreus "shall make certain attempts to aid a tireless gorgon, assigned to bring part of the House to the height of splendor."

You have to help Dusa renovate the Lounge area of the House of Hades to complete her favor. Some of these adjustments are essential, but ten changes can be anything you want as long as they change the overall hub area. Like any other parts you renovate in the Underworld of Hades, you will need to spend Gemstones to acquire new furniture, repair areas, or create other small alterations you may want.

It takes around 700 to 800 Gemstones to complete every renovation needed for Dusa's favor. Gemstones are a type of artifact currency found within the Underworld throughout different areas you explore during a run.

The three renovations you have to do are:

Service, Deep Cleaning - Clean up the fur Cerberus has left behind in the Lounge.

- Clean up the fur Cerberus has left behind in the Lounge. Service, Detailing - Repair the huge gouges Cerberus has clawed into the walls and floor of the lounge.

- Repair the huge gouges Cerberus has clawed into the walls and floor of the lounge. Decorating - Buy one rug and any ten additional lounge renovations.

The hardest part behind doing renovations is the Gemstones required, but there are several ways you can earn this currency fast for the job. For example, you can use the Rod of Fishing to catch rare animals that sell for a high price with the head chef in the House of Hades. Work orders, such as the Vanquisher's Keep, can also be activated for Diamonds to reward you with extra Gemstones for defeating bosses.

Other locations, like Charon's Shop and the Well of Charon, could give you all the Gemstones you need to finish every renovation. Once you've funded everything Dusa needs, she will express sincere gratitude for your efforts and reward you with Fidi, a companion item gifted when you hand Dusa Ambrosia. This item from Dusa's completed favor in Hades can petrify enemies, making it perfect for your next run.
