Elden Ring: How To Get Fingerslayer Blade (All Locations & Uses)
During Ranni the Witch's quest in Elden Ring, she tasks players with finding something known as the "Hidden Treasure of Nokron," which refers to an object known as the Fingerslayer Fingerslayer Blade . This is not a weapon but a key item for Ranni's quest, and players will not be able to use it for anything other than that. The Fingerslayer Blade's sole purpose in the game is to be given to Ranni, which will reward players with the Carian Inverted Statue.
As its name implies, the Hidden Treasure is located within Nokron, Eternal City in Elden Ring, the subterranean region beneath Limgrave above the Siofra River. Therefore, to get the Fingerslayer Blade, players must venture into Nokron to retrieve it. However, some adventurers might not know where the Eternal City is or how to access it. Furthermore, once they arrive in Nokron, the game does not explain where to look for the Fingerslayer Blade. Fortunately, it isn't too difficult to find, and the player can even bypass most hostile enemies along the way.

Unlocking The Fingerslayer Blade Location
Entering The Eternal City
To enter Nokron, Eternal City, and get the Fingerslayer Blade in Elden Ring, you must defeat Starscourge Radahn, the Demigod General of Caelid. This mid-game foe is one of the most challenging bosses in the Lands Between, but luckily, Rifle Gaming has some tips and tricks to make beating Radahn a little easier. Yet when players come out victorious, they will be rewarded with his Remembrance and Great Rune and an entirely new region to explore.
After successfully defeating Radahn, a cutscene will show a star falling from the sky and landing in the forests of Limgrave. If players travel to the area where the star collides with the ground in the Mistwood area, they can enter the newly created crater and explore. This is the entrance to the Eternal City, and you will now be able to venture down, encounter an entirely new area, and see what you can make of it.

Platforming Challenge
By continuing down through the break in the Lands Between, players will find Nokron, Eternal City. After reaching the first Site of Grace, named after the city, players must fight a mandatory boss to continue across the extended overpass across the map.
The boss is one of Elden Ring's Mimic Tears, which can be obtained as one of the most powerful Spirit Ashes later and will become an exact copy of the player once activated. This can be a challenging fight if you are unsure of how to make it a bit easier on yourself.
Players should wait before entering the boss room and unequip all their weapons, armor, and spells to beat the Mimic Tear boss easily. Once the Mimic Tear copies this unarmed form, re-equip your weapons of choice and let them have it!
After beating the Mimic Tear and reaching the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace, players must complete a brief platforming challenge to find the Fingerslayer Blade. This is a somewhat complicated task, and players who need a visual walkthrough should watch the video below from Games From Mars to see just exactly where to jump to get Elden Ring's Fingerslayer Blade for Ranni:
Leap off the cliff and onto the roof to the south from the Site of Grace. Being mindful of the gap, carefully drop onto the ledge below. Go around the corner on the left and leap onto the balcony on the opposite side.
Continue parkouring across the rooftops until reaching two Silver Tears that will transform into humanoid forms when the player approaches. Players can attack them or dash past to the left and run across the arch to the chapel-like structure.
After entering the chapel in Nokron, Eternal City, go to the first floor and either attack or run past the enemies to the front entrance. Make a U-turn at the cliff edge and swiftly sprint past the multiple Silver Tears (or engage with them for more runes) to reach the giant hooded skeleton structure at the end. Players will find a treasure chest with Elden Ring's Fingerslayer Blade inside the building.
If you have not spoken to Ranni about this quest before reaching the treasure chest, it will remain locked, and players cannot open it. You must have gotten the quest to interact with the treasure chest.
What To Do With The Fingerslayer Blade
Return It To Ranni
With the Fingerslayer Blade in hand, players can return to Ranni and hand it over for the Carian Inverted Statue. Before you hand it over, you will want to make sure that you have otherwise finished Seluvis' questline and received the Magic Scorpion Charm from him.
Otherwise, handing over the Fingerslayer Blade will end his questline entirely, and you cannot return and get the item. The point at which you are trying to progress is the quest where he asks you to find an Amber Starlight shard, which you must have found in the Altus Plateau. Returning with the shard will reward you with the Magic Scorpion Charm.
At that point, you can then hand over the Fingerslayer Blade to Ranni, and it will promptly end Seluvis' quests. However, you can still purchase from his shop if you want any of his Puppet Ashes. If you continue his pursuit instead, it will ask you to betray Ranni. You will not be rewarded for doing so, and Ranni will no longer speak to you unless you absolve yourself of your sins.
Afterwards, Seluvis' quest line will end anyway, so it is easier to continue with Ranni's quest and ignore Seluvis' final request. The end of his quest line will also end Pidia's questline, but there are fewer consequences for ending that one before you are ready.
Once you have the Carian Inverted Statue, you can take it to the Carian Study Hall to unlock a previously hidden area. Interact with the desk by the entrance of the study hall and place the statue on it to start a cutscene.
The tower will then invert, allowing you to go through the window you could not reach before. If you want to return to explore the tower right side up, you only need to take the statue back off the desk to reverse the process. However, with the tower inverted, you can now access the Divine Tower of Liurnia, which contains the Cursemark of Death , another important essential item for two different endings in Elden Ring.
While not required, without the Cursemark of Death, you will be locked out of two of the endings of Elden Ring, so it is worth having even if you plan on going for a different ending. If players examine it closely enough, it will also reveal some lore about Ranni herself. All of that is possible only if players find and return the Fingerslayer Blade to Ranni in Elden Ring.
