Minecraft: How To Get The Infinity Enchantment
One of the most sought-after Enchantments in Minecraft is the Infinity Enchantment, which lets you fire unlimited arrows with your Bow. This Enchantment is particularly hard to get through the traditional way, i.e., using an Enchanting table. However, there are other ways to unlock this Enchantment so that you don't have to depend on the game's RNG.
To make use of the Infinity Enchantment, you only need one Arrow in your inventory for it to work. This Enchantment in Minecraft is applied to your Bow and is an invaluable asset to have when taking on enemies in the End, Woodland Mansions, or the Nether. It is worth noting that the Infinity Enchantment only works with regular arrows and not special arrows such as Spectral Arrows.
How To Get The Infinity Enchantment In Minecraft
Via Trading, Fishing or Dungeon Crawling
As shown by JayDeeMC on YouTube, the best way to get the Infinity Enchantment is by trading with villagers. This is the only guaranteed way to get the Enchantment without having to use the game's RNG. You will need to trade with a Librarian who sells Enchanted books.
A Librarian's stock is randomized, yet the advantage is that they will always readily have Enchanted Books available for purchase.
The other ways you can get the Infinity Enchantment is by going fishing or exploring Dungeons. This method also relies on Minecraft's RNG and is quite time-consuming. However, Minecraft fans might find an Enchanted Book with the Infinity Enchantment. Since fishing and exploring dungeons are purely based on luck, Enchanting Tables and Librarians might be more reliable sources of the Infinity Enchantment.
Once you have applied the Infinity Enchantment to your Bow, you can fire as many arrows as you want as long as you have one arrow in your inventory. However, your Bow will still deteriorate and break, so repair it often to avoid finding an Infinity Enchantment book again.
You cannot apply the Mendin Enchantment on bows with the Infinity Enchantment as they are mutually exclusive and not compatible. There is a way to combine the two Enchantments with console commands in-game, but this process might ruin your immersion and the survival Minecraft playthrough.
