Everything We Know About Angela Deem From 90 Day Fiancé
90 Day Fiancé franchise alum Angela Deem has been a controversial star since her first appearance in 2018. Angela began her 90 Day Fiancé journey in Before the 90 Days season 2, in which went to Nigeria to meet Michael Ilesanmi for the first time. Michael slid into the meemaw’s DMs in 2017, and although she had a difficult time believing that she was the only woman in Michael’s life, she fell in love. Since then, they have been an integral part of the show, as their relationship has been drama-filled and dragged out.
Angela and Michael had their K-1 visa denied, so they got married in Nigeria and filed for the spousal visa. Michael was approved in December 2023, and came to America shortly after. Throughout their relationship, Angela has been called abusive, emasculating, toxic, and volatile, but she has never seemed to care about how she reacts and behaves. The star has definitely been through many dramatic changes over the years personally and in her relationship with Michael, and there's plenty to learn about the brash American reality TV celeb.
Angela's 90 Day Fiancé History
& Notable Moments
When a franchise stint lasts for half a decade, a star is bound to have some cringe-worthy moments, and 90 Day Fiancé's Angela is no exception. She has no shame, and a very bold personality. Angela has even gotten physical with her partner, Michael. In one memorable instance, HEA star Angela threw cake in Michael's face, because he took a picture that had a woman in it. Angela has repeatedly berated Michael over the phone, financially controlled him, and she has gotten into fights with her fellow cast mates during the various Tell Alls she's appeared on.
On more than one occasion, she’s proven that her desires come before Michael’s. For example, she chose weight loss surgery and a breast augmentation over fertility treatments.
She also raised eyebrows when she made a surprise trip to Nigeria during the past season, which led to her destroying her husband’s car.
Angela and Michael have made their rounds on most of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise shows. After their Before the 90 Days season 2 debut, they have been on the OG show, and several seasons of Happily Ever After? Their relationship issues were also highlighted in 90 Day: The Last Resort. They've been on 90 Day Bares All and 90 Day Diaries as well.

Is 90 Day Fiancé Franchise Star Angela Deem Genuine?
Angela Always Presents Herself The Same
When it comes down to it, the 90 Day Fiancé diva is untrustworthy. Angela’s history is filled with appearances on other reality TV shows, including Maury, and the fact that she seeks the limelight makes her authenticity questionable. Her antics often seem over the top, as if they were orchestrated solely to get attention. On numerous occasions, producers have been asked to remove 90 Day Fiancé franchise star Angela from the franchise, as she can be abusive and manipulative. With each new appearance, her antics seem more histrionic, and the star may be inappropriately glorified.
On a more positive note, Angela worked in the healthcare industry as a Nursing Assistant at a hospice. She continued to share her love and passion for helping others, by connecting with people like Billy Sotiropoulos. While she appears to have good intentions, and does her best to care for her family, her now-expected arrogant antics keep her in franchise villain territory. Overall, Angela brings more negativity than positivity to the franchise. However, it's possible that the 90 Day Fiancé star will continue to appear in franchise shows.
