Following the success of season 2, a huge amount of anticipation and hype has been built up for Ginny & Georgia season 3. Ginny & Georgia is a comedy-drama show that follows a mother named Georgia (Brianne Howey) who moves to the fictional town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts with her daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and son Austin (Diesel La Torraca) with the hopes of giving her family a fresh start. By putting its emphasis on the characters, Ginny & Georgia has built across its first two seasons, making season 3 a necessity.

At the end of Ginny & Georgia season 2, Georgia is arrested for killing Cynthia Fuller's (Sabrina Grdevich) husband, Tom (Vincent Legault). While Georgia only murdered Tom because he was in a coma and simply wanted to put him out of his misery, the deed leaves Ginny and Austin with no one to take care of them. Despite being a highly-anticipated third installment, Netflix has been rather silent on the matter of Ginny & Georgia season 3, and updates are few and far between.
