Nico originally weighed over 430 pounds when he first started his weight loss journey on My 600-lb Life. With his future at risk and his attitude a bit too cavalier for Dr. Now's liking, Nico was pushed by his cousin, his family, and his doctor to lose the weight he needed to in order to have bariatric surgery. After losing nearly 130 pounds, the My 600-lb Life star was approved for surgery, and since the cousins' episode has finished filming, Nico seems to have continued in his weight loss journey. For work, he is a custodian at an elementary school.

Nico got engaged to longtime girlfriend, Rose Degen, on January 1, 2023, and it looks like the pair are gearing up for their wedding. Nico and Rose are active on Facebook, where they have a lot of pictures together. Nico seems to have maintained his weight loss but does not appear to have lost any significant weight since his time on My 600-lb Life. On the show, Nico and his cousin showcased that they turned their over-indulgent family dinner nights into "a new weekly family tradition" where they all get together and play volleyball.

Geno originally weighed in at 684 pounds and knew that he needed to make a move or risk losing his life. Geno lost about 165 pounds and was able to have weight loss surgery. Post-surgery, things have been a bit more difficult for Geno. With a lot more weight to lose, the My 600-lb Life star is still working on his health but does seem to be working hard to keep himself motivated.

After some difficulties during their initial time with Dr. Now, both Geno and Nico have defied the odds and lost some weight. The pair are still working hard to stay fit and are both in secure, healthy relationships that keep them supported. They have each other and the rest of their family, along with their My 600-lb Life fans, to keep them accountable.

Geno does have a Facebook account. His last post was in August 2023. His bio info lets viewers know he is in a relationship with Jessica Michelle. No job is listed in his intro, but he does tout his Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University. In My 600-lb Life season 12, Geno and Nico described that they were from an Italian-American family and a love of eating ran deep through their Connecticut-based family. In an effort to commit to their weight loss and start new chapters, Geno and Nico moved to Texas when they started their weight loss journey. Geno left his mom and girlfriend Jessica back in Connecticut while Nico's girlfriend Rose went with them.

The cousins wanted to buy a house in Texas and move in together with the intention of fixing it up and flipping it. Geno and Nico embraced Texas life and seemed hyped to stay in the South.

However, as of 2024, My 600-lb Life's first cousin duo have both moved back to Connecticut and still seem to be involved with their families.

It's unclear how their relationship is with each other because neither of them have recent photos together.
