After a lengthy wait for the sophomore outing to finally debut, the latest news confirms the release date for The Diplomat season 2 on Netflix. After being briefly delayed by the Hollywood strikes of 2023, Netflix has announced that the second season will debut on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Netflix broke the news on their official X (formerly Twitter) account when sharing a new still from season 2 featuring a somber Kate looking toward the camera.

Season 2 Arrives In October

Though it might have taken a little longer than expected (due to the strike of 2023), Netflix has announced the release date for The Diplomat season 2. All episodes of the sophomore outing will now premiere on the streamer starting Thursday, October 31, 2024.

The Diplomat season 1 debuted on April 20, 2023.

Though the full cast isn't confirmed, certain characters are sure to return to the cast for The Diplomat season 2.
