They wanted to showcase that there are “all kinds of families out there.”

Kenny explained how their book was about love, family, and friendships. Armando added that the book features a family with a grandma household, adoption families, stepfamilies, etc. These families go to a campfire where they become friends. Kenny and Armando were discussing the book for a year. It was a long process of them writing the book, and choosing the families which went in it, the illustrations they made, etc.

The reason the book is performing well is because of Kenny and Armando’s popularity in the franchise. The fans have made it the top seller and rumors of their favorite couple’s money struggles may have led to more fans buying it.
