Elordi's upcoming projects include playing the Monster in "Frankenstein," and starring in the TV miniseries "The Narrow Road to the Deep North."
Jacob Elordi's career has been taking off in recent years, with a lot of attention drawn to his skillful performances in Euphoria and Saltburn, among others. However, the actor is showing no signs of slowing down. Elordi has more major movies lined up for 2024 and beyond, proving that he is one of many young performers in Hollywood in demand as of late. His star status is rising, and the actor is booking more roles than he ever did during the early days of his career.
Elordi made his feature film debut as Noah Flynn in The Kissing Booth, a Netflix teen romantic comedy that premiered in 2018. The movie was an immediate success, which the streaming service capitalized on by producing two sequels (both featuring Elordi reprising his role as Noah). The Kissing Booth shined the spotlight on Elordi, resulting in him landing other gigs like Euphoria. Elordi currently stars as the series' antagonist, Nate Jacobs, a role for which he has received a lot of praise. Some of Jacob Elordi's other movies and shows include The Mortuary Collection, Deep Water, Saltburn, and Priscilla.

Jacob Elordi has many movies in the works, including his role as the titular Monster in Netflix's Frankenstein. The upcoming film, based on Mary Shelley's story of the same name, comes from the mind of Academy Award winner Guillermo del Toro, who is set to direct, write, and produce the project alongside fellow producer J. Miles Dale. Aside from Elordi, other cast members include Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, and Christian Convery.

Andrew Garfield was initially cast as the Monster in del Toro's Frankenstein but had to drop out of the movie because of scheduling conflicts resulting from 2023's SAG-AFTRA strike. Elordi was chosen to replace Garfield, so now he will be the one to act opposite Isaac in the upcoming film. Production began in January 2024, but Frankenstein's release date is unknown. Given the story and the Guillermo del Toro of it all, it's one of Elordi's most exciting future projects. Perhaps he'll earn his first Oscar nomination for his role as Frankenstein's Monster.

The film, directed by Paul Schrader and based on Russell Banks' 2021 novel Foregone, chronicles the life of Leonard, a Canadian-American leftist teetering on the edge of death at the age of 80 due to cancer. 3 Parallel
TBD
Back in May 2021, it was announced that Jacob Elordi had been cast as the lead in Parallel, an action thriller directed by Tom Green and produced by Legendary Pictures.
The movie centers around a fictional world where parallel versions of humans can be accessed (even though it is illegal to do so). Unfortunately, there hasn't been much news surrounding Parallel following the reports of Elordi's casting, so it's unclear if it is still in development. Nevertheless, the action thriller is still listed as one of Elordi's upcoming projects on his IMDb page.
Tom Green previously directed the British series, Misfits.
2 The Narrow Road To The Deep North
Dorrigo Evans
Jacob Elordi's primary focus in 2024 and beyond seems to be on movies, but he has a couple of television shows lined up. The first one is The Narrow Road to the Deep North, an Australian drama miniseries currently in production, having begun filming in November 2023. The upcoming show is based on Richard Flanagan's 2013 novel of the same name. It revolves around an Australian doctor and war veteran, Dorrigo Evans, plagued by previous traumas in his life, including his time as a prisoner of war.
Elordi was cast to play the younger version of Dorrigo in The Narrow Road to the Deep North, but it seems he will be the face of the miniseries.

1 Euphoria Season 3
Nate Jacobs
Close
Jacob Elordi's final (and arguably most highly anticipated) upcoming project is Euphoria season 3, however it is unclear whether it's actually going to happen. The popular HBO television series has been on hiatus for over two years and fans have been patiently (or not-so-patiently) waiting for the return of Elordi as Nate Jacobs, Zendaya as Rue Bennet, Hunter Schafer as Jules Vaughn, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard, and more. While many rumors have flown about season 3's story, including a time jump to account for the actors getting (and looking) older, the series may be in troubled waters.
Most recently, it was revealed that Zendaya asked Sam Levinson to rewrite his scripts for Euphoria season 3 after he wrote Rue as a private detective. And though Zendaya had her own ideas about Rue's story, it seems that the writer and director is still figuring out where to go with the new series. Therefore, Euphoria season 3 is no closer to being made, and as the talented cast begin to appear in other, bigger projects, it seems more and more likely that the HBO series may never return.
Zendaya suggested that Rue become a surrogate mother in Euphoria season 3.
