Ready Or Not 2 Officially Happening With Original Star & Directors Returning

Ready or Not 2 is a go. The original 2019 movie, which was created by the filmmaking collective Radio Silence (which includes directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett as well as executive producer Chad Villella), followed a young bride (Samara Weaving) playing a deadly game of hide and seek with her new groom's family, who have made a deal with the sinister supernatural figure Le Bail in exchange for their great wealth. It was both a critical and commercial success, earning a Certified Fresh score of 89% and grossing $57.6 million worldwide against its $6 million budget.

Deadline has revealed that Ready or Not 2 is now officially in development. Radio Silence made the announcement that they would be making the sequel at a screening of the original movie late Saturday night. Although the production timeline and release date remain unknown, they confirmed that original star Samara Weaving is also set to return. Her character has not been confirmed, but it seems likely that she will reprise the role of Grace.
