The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom - Cotton Candy Hunt Quest Walkthrough
The Cotton-Candy Hunt quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is challenging as it relies on players being able to move and dodge attacks from enemies while using their echoes simultaneously. This is very difficult, and there is plenty of confusion because players are also expected to solve puzzles while they avoid taking damage. Knowing exactly what to do before you take on a puzzle is essential to survive and get through each area.
At the end of the quest, the princess of Hyrule, Zelda, is given a curious charm, so it's very worth the effort taken. It's best to get on the quest as soon as it opens because it's also very out of the way and a bit time-consuming. We'd say that once you get through the prerequisites and have an Echo that can shoot fire and protect you, like the Fire Wizzrobe, it's a good idea to go ahead and see if you can start this quest.

Finish The Prerequisites
To get the Cotton-Candy Hunt quest in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you must first complete the Let's Play a Game side quest at the Eastern Temple. This temple can be found in the Central Hyrule Field. Talk to archaeologist Sago outside the temple and complete his quest.
Afterward, he will move to Faron to take on another challenge. Next, go to Deku in Scrubton east of the Deku Lock Up to begin the quest. The Spark Echo is one of the best early echoes in the game, so it's a good idea to get it for this quest.

It would be best to have a battle Echo that produces a flame before starting this quest. Fire Wizzrobes are a great choice because they can also fight, which is needed for the boss battle. Also, make sure you have healing items because this is a side quest where you will take a lot of damage just due to the nature of the enemies around you. When you're ready, go to Southeast Farn, shown above, and look for two towers that can hold torches south of a giant statue.

The First Puzzle
Close
When you arrive at the location in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you're going to see two frogs. Beat up those two frogs, and you'll see that it has stopped raining. You need it to stop raining to light up the two towers. Take out your Fire Wizzrobe and target the two towers. It normally takes two tries for the Fire Wizzrobes to light up each tower. From there, the statue in front of the pond will open, revealing the entrance to a dungeon. Go inside.
Inside the dungeon will be a chest containing a monster stone. Past that chest are two Sparks. These two sparks go in circles around the fire pits. Grab the sparks and put them in the box on the north side of the room. After doing this, the box will start operating, opening a door on the room's southeast corner. You can just run through that doorway to finish this part of the quest.
If you already have a Spark Echo, just use it twice on the box on the north side of the room.
Quick Tips
In the next area, you'll see a bunch of spiders that will attempt to fight you. You can either transform to fight or just use some of your echos to fight for you. Make sure to use a fighter who uses fire, like Fire Wizzrobe. This way, the fire can take care of the webbing as well. Once done, you can use the sparks below to fill up the boxes that appear when you destroy the webbing.
Puzzle Sparks Room
Quick Tips
The next room in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is difficult to figure out, but it's pretty easy if you know what to do. There's going to be a rock in the southern part of the room. Grab that rock and use it to lure nearby Sparks. When you have three, or even a few, move the rock to the box in the middle of the room. You can grab more if needed, but once you've got enough sparks in the box, it will activate and open the door on the northern side of the room.
If you already have the echo, you can just put two sparks in the rock and move it to the box.
The Side-Scrolling Area
Quick Tips
From here, you're going to go down a ladder that changes The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to a side-scrolling view. You are expected to use water to climb up to the upper levels, but make sure to time your climb well. Sparks inside of water have their area of effect increased, which will cause damage if you're too close. After getting to the top level, you'll find 20 Rupees in a chest. Move on and continue to the right, using the water ladder where needed.
When you enter the next area, the spark will begin moving around. This is harder to time because it's going to have a bigger area of effect. Instead of trying to avoid the spark, wait for it to return to the platform and grab the spark. When you have it, move it into the box in the middle platform. The other two sparks need to be grabbed and moved into the same box in the middle of this area.
If you have the Spark echo, you can put two into the box after the initial spark. The next area is just a place to rest; make sure to rest before moving on.
Boss Battle
Quick Tips
The next area in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has an enemy that separates into three clouds. Your task is just to make sure the clouds are on the same platform, which they will stay on if you don't move anything in the way. To do this, put two barriers, as seen above, so the clouds go onto the same middle platform. Use a bed to connect the middle platforms and use a tree for the platforms on the right. This will combine all three in a few moments.
When the cloud is one entity, shoot arrows at it or have Echos fight alongside you. Don't forget to put things in the path of this large cloud to slow it down. Unfortunately, after you hit the large cloud for long enough, it will become five smaller clouds. Use the same method mentioned above to put clouds in the way of others. Remember that the clouds cannot hurt you until they shoot out their green spark as seen in Quick Tips' video.
If you want an easy way to get through this, just make a tree echo, grab it, and put it against a cloud. Then, you can just put two clouds together. It makes it easy to get through; you must avoid green sparks because they will destroy your objects in one hit. The easiest way to beat the giant cloud is just to have one of your strong guardian Echoes fight instead of you.
