The reboot of Highlander has reportedly been delayed. Highlander was originally a 1986 movie starring Christopher Lambert and directed by Russell Mulcahy. It is a dark fantasy film about a Scottish swordsman who has to confront his final immortal opponent. In addition to Lambert, Highlander featured a leading cast including Sean Connery, Clancy Brown, Roxanne Hart, and Beatie Edney. In the years since its release, a Highlander reboot was announced, with an updated cast that would star Henry Cavill and be directed by the John Wick franchise's Chad Stahelski.
