Silo Season 2 Trailer Reveals Juliette's Fight For Survival After Going Outside

The trailer for Silo season 2 highlights Rebecca Furgerson's return, showing Juliette's fight to survive on the outside. Adapted by Graham Yost, from the Wool novels by Hugh Howey, the sci-fi drama debuted on Apple TV+ in May 2023. Though the first eight episodes unfold in a dystopian future, focusing on a community that lives in a giant silo that continues for hundreds of stories underground, and it's clear the community leaders would like to keep some secrets hidden. It all builds to a game-changing Silo season 1 finale, which puts the safety of Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) in question.

The trailer for Silo season 2 has been unveiled, as the sci-drama will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, November 15 with the first episode. From there, a new episode will be released Friday through January 17, 2025. On the whole, the upcoming season consists of 10 episodes. The two-minute trailer, which takes the style of a cinematic epic, centers on Juliette's struggles after the massive cliffhanger and introduces the new character played by The White Lotus Steve Zahn.

Juliette Faces Several Dangers

Silo season 2 will pick up after Juliette is sent out to clean. This is more or less a euphemism for being sent out to die because of the apparent toxicity of the air. Even though Juliette agrees to be sent out, without protest or a hearing, in exchange for learning what happened to her friend George (Ferdinand Kingsley), she's protected by the kind of tape that protects herself from the immediate dangers of the outside world. But, once she makes it outside, it's confirmed the outside world is toxic and barren. However, Juliette notices numerous other silos around her.

The trailer picks up on this thread, arguably more than any other, and most of all, in its closing moments. Zahn's character tells Juliette that if she tries opening the door again, he'll kill her. This suggests that Juliette tries visiting other silos. In another moment, Juliette nearly falls to her death and looks to be barely hanging on.

For the rest of the Silo cast, they're continuing from familiar positions. Bernand Holland (Tim Robbins) and Robert Sims (Common) are trying to maintain the lie that Juliette has died for the greater good, though that lie is crumbling. Meanwhile, characters like Martha Walker (Harriet Walter) and Paul Billings (Chinaza Uche) are doing what they can to fight for those who live in the silo, though Paul is still conflicted.
