As Halloween approaches, Fortnitemares 2024 has arrived in Fortnite as part of its Halloween event for Chapter 5 Season 4, bringing with it some familiar items, such as the Witch Broom. While the Witch Broom is not necessarily new to Fortnitemares, it is still part of a limited-time event, so anyone looking to get their hands on it will want to do so soon.

Fortnitemares 2024 officially kicked off on October 12, and all the event-related items will be available until the end of Chapter 5 Season 4. Alongside the Witch Broom, players can acquire the Wood Stake Shotgun or Pumpkin Launcher. Regardless of what you're hoping to grab, you'll need to complete some haunting tasks first before you can reap the rewards.

Unfortunately, while the Wood Stake Shotgun and Pumpkin Launcher can both be received as a reward for the same task, defeating Ultima Carver at Brawler's Patch, the Witch Broom has a different requirement. The Witch Broom can be found from the ground, Chests, and Loot Island. Jigsaw's Challenge is another exclusive Fortnitemares 2024 game in which you will have to seek out the famous horror icon Jigsaw, who can be found on monitors across the map, and accept his challenge. The challenge in question requires you to duel against another player who is accepting the same challenge from another screen. Upon accepting, you and your opponent will both be equipped with an explosive Billy-inspired Bear mask.

Your main objective at that point is simple; find and eliminate your opponent. However, the catch is that if you fail to do so in a timely manner, your mask will explode, eliminating you instead. From there, it'll serve as a glider for you, but note that after each use, it will have a 20-second cooldown. Therefore, it's best not to land anywhere too dangerous, otherwise, you may find yourself losing your Witch Broom to another Fortnite player, leaving you on the hunt, yet again.
