Yellowstone's latest follow-up series could end up starting a legal battle between Paramount+ and Peacock, according to one source. Yellowstone season will come to an end this weekend, with an episode that was originally understood to be a series finale. Earlier this week, however, the team announced that the follow-up series they had planned that would star Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser would indeed be a Yellowstone spinoff. This spinoff series would be the first in the Yellowstone universe, which also includes 1923 and 1883, to include "Yellowstone" in the title.

Now, a report by Puck claims that this show could cause a legal battle with Peacock.
