Slay Ride To Hell Event Begins In Diablo 4 Soon, Allowing Players To Hunt Down Treasure Goblins This Holiday Season

Blizzard has announced a new Slay Ride To Hell event heading to Diablo 4, where players will be on the hunt for some Treasure Goblins located all around Sanctuary. Treasure Goblins are a well-known enemy in Diablo 4, most known for their tendency to avoid being taken down by running from the player at full speed. Even so, once slain, they drop a plethora of loot for players to collect, but this holiday season, there is a very good reason to bring those pesky goblins down.

During the Slay Ride To Hell event, which is set to begin on December 17 and end on January 2, any Treasure Goblin slain all around Sanctuary will bring players closer to the rewards goals needed to claim limited-time loot.

While the major details on the Slay Ride To Hell event on a bit sparse at the moment, the images from Blizzard appear to give a few hints on what to expect. It seems as though there will be small event areas located all around Sanctuary, where Treasure Goblins will spawn and attempt to flee from the players. Every goblin slain throughout the duration of the event will help fans reach the different tiers of the event. According to Blizzard, there are five tiers, each of which comes with its own set of rewards. Here is a "sample" of what may come from some of the caches, according to the developers:

Even More To Come This Holiday Season In Diablo 4

Players Can Enjoy Spiritborn Without The Expansion For A Limited Time

Blizzard

On top of the limited-time Treasure Goblin slaying event, players can also enjoy the brand-new Spiritborn class that came to Diablo 4 with the Vessel Of Hatred expansion earlier this year. For those who never took the leap and purchased the expansion, from December 19 until January 3, the class will become available to those playing through Battle.net, Xbox, and PlayStation. Players will only be able to reach level 25, but any progress earned will be transferred over for those who purchase the expansion down the line.

More so, Mother's Blessing is making a comeback. From December 17 until January 2, players will earn increased experience and gold at an increased rate while Mother's Blessing is active. This will apply to both Seasonal and Eternal realms and will be available on every World Tier. 'Tis the season to get back into Diablo 4, as there are several new things to enjoy and explore, and for those like me who have a vendetta against Treasure Goblins, now is the time to seek our revenge.
