The fifth episode of Dune: Prophecy is coming soon. Dune: Prophecy is based on the 2012 novel Sisterhood of Dune, which was written by Brian Herbert, son of original Dune author Frank Herbert. The series significantly expands the world of the Dune franchise, and is set 10,000 years before the events of the Dune films. The story of Dune: Prophecy follows Valya Harkonnen, the leader of the sisterhood known as the Bene Gesserit, who are trying to prevent a prophecy referred to as "The Reckoning."

The first four episodes of Dune: Prophecy have chronicled the power struggle between Valya and Desmond Hart, a mysterious warrior who survived being swallowed by a sandworm on Arrakis. Desmond Hart has aligned himself with Emperor Corrino, who rules over the Imperium, and has encouraged him to stand strong against his enemies. The shocking ending of Dune: Prophecy episode 4 teases that war is about to break out and sets up an action-packed episode 5.

New episodes of Dune: Prophecy premiere every Sunday night at 9 PM ET on HBO, and are made available to stream on the MAX streaming service at the exact same time. Therefore, Dune: Prophecy episode 5, titled "In Blood, Truth," will be available to watch on HBO and MAX on Sunday, December 15 at 9 PM ET. New episodes of Dune: Prophecy are released at the same time all over the world, so viewers on the West Coast, for example, will be able to watch episode 5 at 6 PM PT

The trailer for Dune: Prophecy episode 5 teases that Desmond Hart will lead an army of warriors against the Bene Gesserit. Based on the trailer, he has the full support of Emperor and Empress Corrino, who have seemingly fully turned against Valya's sisterhood. Therefore, Valya and her sister, Tula, may be the most desperate they've been in the series so far in episode 5.
