Infinity Nikki Announces First Major Event, New Outfits Revealed In Trailer

The first major Infinity Nikki event has been announced by developer InFold, which will feature new content and outfits. The free-to-play, self-professed "Coziest Open-World Game" has only been out for about a week, and the first event is already coming. There is plenty to do in the beautiful dress-up adventure game, but this particular event will focus on the cute animals that inhabit the game's vast world.

The Companion's Day celebration is coming to Miraland, according to the official Infinity Nikki X account. The Companion's Day event will last from December 18 through December 29, ending at 12:59 (UTC-7). In addition to the in-game events and festivities, InFold is also giving away an Infinity Nikki Hat & Scarf Set to 10 lucky winners who report the X post with their user IDs.

The Infinity Nikki Event Will Be Animal-Centric

According to the X post, the Companion's Day event was created to honor "a brave Floof," a dog-like animal in the game that looks like a cross between a Shiba Inu and a Pomeranian. The special day is celebrated every year in the town of Florawish, indicating that this will become a recurring yearly event in the game. Not much else is known about what the event will entail yet, but the X announcement states that Nikki and Momo will get to see several heartwarming "tales of companionship" as they celebrate with the rest of the town.

Most notably, the trailer reveals for Companion's Day shows that the event will debut at least two new outfits. The first is a gorgeous sparkling pink gown with a fluffy boa (humanely sourced from willing companions, presumably!), and a pose of Nikki blowing a kiss with heart-shaped bubbles. The second new outfit is a green frog-inspired 'fit with a transparent yellow-green top and a green hat with goggles that resemble frog eyes.

The Companion's Day event looks like it will have plenty of animal-themed shenanigans and activities, and players will undoubtedly have plenty of chances to complete activities and earn rewards. The free title already has hundreds of articles of clothing to find and craft, with many more likely on the way.

Besides finding clothing, the game already has many things to do and ways to interact with the world. However, developers InFold will need to keep the momentum going to encourage fans to keep playing (and spending money) on this otherwise completely free game. A whole new event this soon after the game's release shows that InFold is dedicated to continuing to add new content and events to Infinity Nikki.
