Peaky Blinders Set Photo Reveals Barry Keoghan & Cillian Murphy As Netflix Confirms Production Wrap
A new set photo for the Peaky Blinders movie has been revealed as Netflix confirms the wrap of production. Peaky Blinders was an incredibly successful show for Netflix during its tenure on the platform, which lasted six seasons from 2013 to 2022. The family gangster drama won a BAFTA in 2018 for Best Drama Series, and was awarded numerous other accolades. Following the success of the TV series, development is well underway on a Peaky Blinders movie. The film will see Cillian Murphy reprise his role as Tom Shelby with a new cast that includes Barry Keoghan and Rebecca Ferguson.
Now, Netflix has revealed a new set photo from the Peaky Blinders movie. The shot shows a look at Murphy's Tom returning to the film, alongside newcomer Keoghan. The pair smile at each other as they are dressed in period-appropriate clothing. In addition to the new photo, Netflix confirmed that production has been completed for the Peaky Blinders movie. What This Means For Peaky Blinders
The Movie's Title Is Not Confirmed
Close
Netflix's statement confirms reports from earlier this week about the Peaky Blinders film's production wrap. Steven Knight, who created the TV show and serves as a writer on the movie, previously said that production on the film finished on December 13. The movie's hair and makeup team also thanked the cast and crew for their work in an appreciative post that also implied filming was complete. Netflix's post confirms these statements from the crew members, making the Peaky Blinders movie's filming wrap official.

Curiously, Netflix's update does not refer to the movie by any particular title, but rather calls it "The Peaky Blinders film." In the appreciative post, one of the movie's hair and makeup team members referred to the film as The Immortal Man. They even included what looked to be an initial poster in this post, which also included The Immortal Man name. Netflix's omission of this moniker either means that this is not an officially sanctioned title or that Netflix is waiting on making the official announcement that The Immortal Man is the name of the Peaky Blinders film.
The Plot Is Still Largely Unknown
It is great to see Keoghan and Murphy together on set for the Peaky Blinders movie. The two have previously acted together in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk, so this Netflix movie will be a good way for them to reunite. The shot looks more like a candid set photo than a still from the show, especially given the bright, naturalistic lighting, so it does not do much by way of revealing the Peaky Blinders movie plot. As the film continues into post-production, it will be interesting to see what information comes out about the connection between the actors' characters.
