The Masked Singer Season 13 Reveals Brand-New "Mischievous" Character After Season 12 Winner Is Crowned (SPOILERS)
WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS ABOUT THE MASKED SINGER SEASON 13!The Masked Singer season 13 has revealed a brand-new "mischievous" character, who was introduced after the Boyz II Men's Buffalos were crowned the winners of season 12, and Mario's Wasp was the runner-up. The Masked Singer season 13 premieres on February 12, 2025, and will welcome back host Nick Cannon, and panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. A Ghostbusters theme night has already been revealed, as well as season 13's overall theme, which is "Lucky 13."
In a promo for The Masked Singer season 13, shared via YouTube, a new character, Lucky Duck, was introduced. The promo begins with Nick's voice shouting, "Who's feeling lucky?!" Then, as the number 13 flashed on the screen with various details that represented all of the new characters, Lucky Duck said, "Lucky season 13! What the duck will happen?!"
According to EW, The Masked Singer season 13 features a "Lucky 13" theme, and introduces its newest character, Lucky Duck, who isn't competing in the show, but rather will be there to reveal clues about the contestants. FOX stated that he "is delightfully mischievous and will pop in throughout the season to offer cheeky and luck-related clues. Lucky Duck will be unmasked at the end of the season, and there could be a very special connection to someone on the show!"
EW compared Lucky Duck to The Masked Singer season 5's Cluedle-Doo, who appeared throughout season 5 in order to share clues about the contestants. At the end of the season, Cluedle-Doo was revealed to be actor and New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg. He shocked everyone, including his wife, Jenny, when he unmasked.
The Masked Singer season 13 premieres on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
