Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
Lots of players in Animal Crossing games like to curate daily routines for themselves, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is no different. With the new release bringing in new players, or returning players looking forward to a new start, something to consider is how you're going to make your own routine. When is the best time to fulfill animal requests, collect fruit, and start crafting items to decorate your avatar, cabin, or campsite?
Pocket Camp Complete isn't much different to its predecessor, but one major difference is that Nintendo has been a lot kinder to players when it comes to virtual purchases, and Leaf Tokens are given out a lot more generously than the old Leaf Tickets. This means it may be easier for players to find themselves with full inventories from completing animal requests. If they follow certain routines, this can become a much smaller issue.
Start With Events
Make Sure You Don't Miss Out On Event Items
When first logging into Pocket Camp Complete, it's always good to check what's new. If you logged off while in your campsite, then you'll load in near your camper, which is conveniently close to the garden. Unless they're planting flowers for Happy Homeroom challenges or want a specific item from Lloyd, a lot of players won't want to spend a lot of time gardening, so you should make sure to get it out the way so you don't miss out on event items that would otherwise cost you a Complete Ticket.

When it comes to gardening events, the format is always similar, and will involve harvesting flowers and collecting the bugs which appear on them. The goal is to collect as many bugs as possible to earn seasonal rewards. Each event will introduce two limited-time flowers which get converted into Bells after the event is over. These flowers attract unique bugs of varying rarities which will be attracted to a specific type of event flower. When starting these events, you should ideally use one half of your gardening lots for each flower type to give yourself the best chance of completing all the tasks.
Along with other useful items like craft materials, fish, bugs, fruit, and shells, your Camp Caretaker will also aid you in events by collecting items for you that count towards your goals.
Villager Requests & Clearing Space
Don't Waste Your Time Clearing Space Later On
When I first started playing, I often had a full inventory in Pocket Camp. There isn't much of a reason to hold onto lots of non-clothing or decorative items at once, but some of the most fun things to do in the game are collecting fruit, fishing and catching bugs, so you'll usually have enough resources to fulfill animal requests. In return, you will receive essences and other crafting materials - to avoid materials piling up in your mailbox, or being converted into Bells, you should first begin by crafting any items you want, which clears out space for rewards before completing requests.
Animal Friendship Level Common Request Reward Uncommon Request Reward Level 1–9 2 Primary + 1 Random Craft Material 3–4 Primary + 1 Random Craft Material Level 10–14 5 Primary + 1 Random Craft Material 6–7 Primary + 1 Random Craft Material Level 15–100 8 Primary + 1 Random Craft Material 9–10 Primary + 1 Random Craft Material
Animals will reward players with their "primary" craft material, and a random craft material. This means that each animal will reward more wood, cotton, paper, steel, or preserves. There isn't an easy formula to figure out the primary material of an animal, as it's not based on theme or personality. Luckily, PurpleRain1028 on Reddit created a comprehensive spreadsheet detailing the common materials of the majority of the Pocket Camp animals. You may want to consider swapping out villagers in your campsite or cabin based on their primary material.

Since animals will request fruit, fish, bugs and occasionally flowers, the best time to collect these is after completing their requests. Since the transition into Pocket Camp Complete, players can no longer obtain fruit from Market Boxes, and have to collect it by shaking trees. With the absence of Market Boxes, the only way to collect non-native fruits which don't grow at your campgrounds (grapes, lemons, or lychee) is through friends gifting them at the Whistle Pass. There's also a small chance of a "perfect" fruit spawning on a tree, which animals will provide more rewards in return for.

Things You Shouldn't Miss
What Else Should You Do In ACPC?
Animal Crossing games have always been focused on building friendships with the animal NPCs, so after completing their requests and stocking up on the items you're short on, you may forget the other areas of the game. Though customizing your Camper at OK Motors or listening to K.K. Slider playing a song in Whistle Pass may not give you item rewards, there are also quite a few ways to gather rewards outside the usual methods of collection. Here's a list of the other activities Pocket Camp has to offer which will grant you even more rewards.

Once you've gotten through everything, if you left anything to craft earlier, then it may be completed - if not, you'll have saved yourself some Leaf Tokens if you decide to skip the waiting time. The animals found in recreational spots change every three hours, and plants take three to four hours to grow if not sped up with Plant Food or Leaf Tokens, so you can come back throughout the day to redo a lot of the activities. Your routine in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete should be personalized to your playstyle, but you can make your life a little easier.
