Dragon Ball Daima Is Getting Ready to Take Fusions To the Next Level With Help From the Majin
Dragon Ball Daima wasted no time in shaking up the dynamics of the series and making unforeseen twists. With everything that has been introduced in the Demon Realm so far, one thing in particular has yet to be used and leaves fans wondering what new surprise will come. The Join Bugs are a concept that fans are eager to see in action, especially considering they allow three-way fusions.
These clues scattered throughout Daima, along with the introduction of two new Majin, hint at a much more powerful form of fusion to come. The potential for multi-fusion opens the door to many possibilities that have yet to be explored in Dragon Ball. As Goku and his friends travel deeper into the Demon Realm, the only thing that is certain is that new enemies and untouched techniques are going to create a powerful clash in the future.
Daima Has Yet To Utilize the Join Bugs Shown in the Fourth Episode
The Absence of the Join Bugs Up Until Now Creates Suspense About Whom Will Use It
Dragon Ball Daima introduced fans to the Join Bugs early on in the series, becoming one of the series’ most interesting teases. As shown on the display board, the Demon Realm’s Join Bugs serve as this realm’s version of the Potara earrings, except with the potential to fuse more than two people at once. As of now, the bugs have remained sidelined, leaving audiences to guess about their role in the future of the anime.
What makes the Join Bugs most fascinating is that anyone in the Demon Realm can get their hands on them, meaning that fusion is not solely limited to Goku and his friends. Assuming Daima chooses to lean into this possibility, it could put the Z-Fighters in one of their most challenging positions yet. While an enemy fusion has been witnessed in Dragon Ball Super with the two Zamasu's, the Z-fighters still have yet to defeat a fused enemy. Future Trunks may have sliced Infinite Zamasu in two, but in the end, it was Zeno who erased him from reality.
A Fusion Between Majin Kuu and Majin Duu Could Create the Ultimate Demon Warrior
Dr. Arinsu Is Cunning and Could Easily Come Up With a Plan to Fuse Her Creations Together

With the creation of Majin Kuu and Majin Duu, Goku and his friends are in for a battle against two formidable enemies. While Kuu’s introduction left many feeling underwhelmed, including Dr. Arinsu herself, his speed is undeniable. Similarly, Duu was created and introduced to be more physically powerful than his counterpart. On their own, they could be dangerous foes, but if they get their hands on the Join Bugs, they may combine to create a warrior unlike anything ever seen in the Demon Realm.
A fused Majin Kuu and Duu could take their individual strengths to create a being that is remarkably fast and impressively powerful. Especially with the chance that Majin Kuu is more powerful than the series initially depicted with his first battle. While it left much to be desired, there’s no telling as to whether or not Kuu simply lacks strength or if the first Tamagami is far more powerful than the third Tamagami Goku easily defeated. This would mean that a fusion combining the Majin could be much more devastating than anyone realizes.

Considering that Dr. Arinsu is one of the smartest characters, as proved by her ability to pull strings behind the scenes, there is a high probability that she will indeed seek the Join Bugs in order to create the ultimate warrior. A fused Kuu and Duu would perfectly demonstrate her brilliance and shift the balance of power in the Demon Realm in her favor. After verbally confirming that she seeks to become the next ruler of the Demon Realm, it’s only natural that she would want a warrior capable of overwhelming Goku and his friends.
If the new Majin uses the Join Bugs due to Arinsu’s direction, it would solidify her role as the master manipulator in the anime. Having been pulling many of the strings from behind the scenes already and employing several notable characters, including Glorio and Marba, it’s clear that her actions and plans have far-reaching consequences. With all the hints dropped around her goals and ambitions, it would be no surprise to find that she is the main villain in Daima and the next moves she makes could make her one of the greatest masterminds in the franchise’s legacy.
Fusion May Be Turned Against Goku and His Friends for the First Time
Goku and His Friends Never Did Very Well When Confronting an Unforeseen Enemy
Since Daima takes place before the events of Super, Goku and Vegeta have yet to face an enemy that wields the power of fusion against them. This means that the Z-Fighters may be in for a fight they’re not quite prepared for. Unlike the Potara earrings or the Fusion Dance, the Join Bugs are unfamiliar to Goku and his friends, and they could easily be taken by surprise. Assuming Dr. Arinsu weaponizes the bugs to create an even more powerful Majin, the Z-Fighters may be forced to adapt on the fly, which is something they’ve historically struggled with in the past.
The uncertainty of who will fuse next in the Demon Realm increases the challenges Goku and his friends must face. If Dr. Arinsu successfully utilizes the Join Bugs to create a fused warrior the Z-Fighters aren’t anticipating, it would leave them at an extreme strategic disadvantage, especially since they are in unfamiliar territory. If the Majin fuse in Dragon Ball Daima, it will push Goku and his friends to quickly analyze and counter massive unforeseen adversaries, likely pushing the Z-Fighters to use a three-person fusion for the first time in the series.
