10 Things To Do In Infinity Nikki After Catching Up To The Main Story

10 Things To Do In Infinity Nikki After Catching Up To The Main Story

Like other live-service gacha games, Infinity Nikki will get content updates for the foreseeable future. This is excellent news for fans who enjoyed the first part of the story, but it also means that once you are caught up, you will have to keep yourself busy while waiting for the next update. Likely, this update will come with a new region, new activities, and a new chunk of story to undertake.

It's not yet been announced when the next content update for Infinity Nikki will be, so if you anticipate its release, you may have a while yet to wait. In the meantime, you can find many things to explore across Miraland while you pass the time. Some of these tasks will come with pretty excellent rewards, while others are rewarded with the satisfaction of completing them.

10 Craft Wishful Aurosa Again (And Again...)

With Three Evolutions To Unlock, There's Work To Do

Close

Wishful Aurosa is currently the only Miracle Outfit in the game, and it's got some of the prettiest evolutions. It can only be evolved once another set has been crafted, and the later evolutions require the former ones, so to collect them all, there's quite a bit of crafting to do. Wishful Aurosa is a beautiful and complex outfit, so if you are looking for that lavish look, you will be happy to see that its evolutions are just as nice.

Related Infinity Nikki Fan Digs Up What Could Be Upcoming Ability Outfits From The Debut Trailer Infinity Nikki’s ability outfits make the game a lot of fun, and if the original trailer is right, there may be even more that haven’t come out yet.

Crafting Wishful Aurosa is required to finish the game's final quest, so if you have beaten it, you know everything needed to craft it again. Make sure to use the Dig, Pear-Pal function to grab some materials daily as you explore Wishfield for all the stuff you'll need. By the time you unlock Wishful Aurosa's last evolution, you'll be a professional forager.

9 Perfect Your Styling Prowess

Beating All Four Regions' Stylists Will Earn Excellent Rewards

Across the four areas of Wishfield, there are numerous stylists who are waiting for your challenge. You will need to beat them all at least once to earn the materials for Wishful Aurosa, but getting a perfect score in each challenge is an even bigger mountain to climb. Not only will you be able to earn some Diamonds, Shiny Bubbles, and other rewards, but Styling Challenges are a great way to pass the time.

Dress-up is Infinity Nikki's main mechanic, and it's exciting to have the chance to style on a theme rather than a free-for-all. While the outfits created in Styling Challenges don't have to go together, it's an extra challenge to make an outfit that looks good while also scoring well. It's also likely that the beaten Sovereigns will return in later installments based on the dialogue surrounding them, so getting in some extra styling practice can never hurt.

8 Find Elusive Animal Materials

These Rare Animals Can Be Groomed Once A Day

Close

Each animal in Infinity Nikki can only be groomed once a day, but for certain animals, there is only one each in the entirety of the game. These animals' materials aren't needed often, but it's nice not to have to hunt down materials when they're needed. Some of these animals are easy to find, but others are hidden out of the way. Here are all their locations:

Animal Location Bibcoon Outside the Bibcoon Club in Florawish Black and Pink Swans Near the Swan Gazebo in Breezy Meadows, it can only be groomed on land. Bullquet Northeast of the Abandoned Fanatic Wisher Camp Outpost Warp Spire, catch the flies around its head to groom. Tulletail Abandoned District Stellar Fishing Ground at nighttime Astral Swan Upper stonetree in the Stellar Fishing Ground Dawntail Fox The northeastern part of the Wishing Woods. Turn into Momo to get close, then swap quickly to Animal Grooming Outfit to groom it.

Some of these are trickier to groom than others. Some, like the Astral Swan's quest, even have quests tied to them that must be completed before grooming them. While you might not need these items until later, they're nice to have on hand just in case a new Sketch asks for them.

Once you've groomed it, you can play with the Dawntail Fox for extra cuteness.

7 Beat Realm of the Dark Encounters

Beat Bosses And Get New Rewards

In the Realm of the Dark, you can face new renditions of the two combat bosses in the game: Bouldy and Caged Greed. Between the two of them, there are 10 "new" bosses to fight. Each gives different rewards, so spending some Vital Energy fighting these bosses will quickly provide upgrades and glow-up materials.

You'll also need to fight these bosses for certain Sketches as well, so there are plenty of reasons to tackle these tricky encounters. In exchange for their rewards, you'll need to master the new mechanics that each fight introduces. This is a great way to master combat and earn some nice rewards.

6 Upgrade Your Camera

Unlock Your Inner Photographer And Take Sick Shots

Close

While the camera that Momo starts with is pretty excellent for taking cool pictures, the upgraded version is even better. To upgrade your camera, you'll need to complete Momo's Wishfield scrapbook. In the overworld, you'll notice that a golden focus reticle will appear every once in a while, and you'll get a notification in the quest section on the left-hand side of your screen.

This indication tells you that you're nearing something you still haven't photographed for your scrapbook. Once you take all 40 pictures, you'll be able to get a new and improved camera. This camera has more poses, lighting options, and controls that will transform your pictures from pretty to stunning.

5 Unlock The Secret Vendor

Trade-In Duplicate Clothing Items

After you beat the Caged Greed boss in the Abandoned District, you can unlock one of the most useful vendors in the game. You unlock Yelubo by beating Caged Greed in the Realm of the Dark. You can pick any version, but once you do, you'll get a message from Dada that you should check.

Dada will tell you a Faewish Sprite has appeared in town that will recycle your clothes. This helpful vendor is located near the Wishing Tree in Florawish, and you can trade your duplicate clothes here for Glittering Bubbles of various types. These bubbles allow you to level your outfits past level 10, so they can be really helpful when approaching tougher styling challenges like those in the Wishing Wood.

4 Find And Craft Combat Fragrances

Increase Your Combat Prowess With Upgrades

Relatively early on in the game, Nikki is introduced to fragrances, which allow you to modify, just a bit, how your purifying works in combat. These fragrances are tricky to find, so taking the time to hunt them all down will be a lot of work. However, if you're a combat fan, it's worth it.

To get started, you'll need to pick up a side quest on the way up to the Dream Warehouse Tower. It will say something about a nearby cavern with a strange smell. Here, you'll find the first of a few herbs that can be used to make combat Fragrances. After completing this task, you'll unlock fragrances to track down ingredients for and craft.

3 Complete All Event Challenges

While no upcoming large-scale content patches are on the way, the Companion's Day event is in full swing at the time of writing. This, and future, events are a good way to pass the time. Each event brings smaller challenges and activities to complete. You'll get to know the people of Wishfield while earning some Diamonds.

Companion's Day tasks you with photography challenges, helping out with the Companion's Day festival and repairing broken streetlights in the name of their furry friends. This event also has two new banners, from which you can earn two new Ability Outfits. While Companion's Day is rather short-lived, you can be sure that more events will come.

2 Collect Outfits For Momo

Every Banner Brings New Momo 'Fits

Close

While dressing up Momo isn't as involved as Nikki's elaborate outfits, it's fun to match with everyone's favorite fuzzy friend. So far, there are over 10 outfits for Momo in the game, and future content updates will bring more. Many of these are paid only, but there are still those that free-to-play players can get with just a bit of work.

The easiest outfits to get for Momo are those from Kilo the Cadenceborn, so make sure to collect Dews of Inspiration from around Wishfield as you play and explore. You can turn these into Kilo for rewards, one of which includes a cute little outfit. Other Momo outfits come as pull rewards from the permanent banner; even a few come with limited banner pulls.
