90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6: Which Couples Are Still Together?
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 has officially wrapped up but has still left viewers wondering about which couples from the 2024 spin-off are still together. 90 Day Fiancé launched the The Other Way spin-off in June 2019, and it was an instant hit. It documented the lives of Americans who were moving to foreign countries for love to be with their partners who couldn’t make it to the U.S. for whatever reason.
While most Americans end up coming back home after realizing they can’t survive in a foreign nation, there have been relationships that have survived the differences between cultures, languages, and traditions. 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 featured six couples, but not all of them were able to form long-lasting relations. Find out which of these 90 Day Fiancé cast members managed to make things work and are still together with their international partners.

Shekinah from Los Angeles and Sarper from Istanbul were first seen in The Other Way season 5. The couple had met when single mom Shekinah was vacationing in Turkey and swiped right on personal trainer Sarper. They continued dating after Shekinah flew back home, but she quickly moved to Istanbul to live with Sarper and discovered he wasn’t okay with making their relationship Instagram official. Sarper had been a “bad boy” who had slept with over 3000 women and kept a log book of his encounters. Shekinah didn’t trust Sarper around his female clients and made him quit his work.

While Shekinah and Sarper stayed together in the finale, they returned to season 6 with an even wilder storyline. Sarper was now in control of giving Shekinah a new nose. He’d even designed a new one for her. Shekinah and Sarper argued over his wanting to purchase a vanity on their shared birthday, and they got into a scary argument where Shekinah accused Sarper of ripping out her hair extensions and ripping her phone out of her hand. Shekinah had walked out of Sarper’s apartment. Shekinah eventually forgave Sarper on the condition that he would never show her his bad side.
Sarper asked for Shekinah’s hand in marriage during a romantic boat ride. While Sarper’s K-1 visa was approved, he wished to remain in Turkey with Shekinah. However, Sarper was spotted in Monterey, California in September 2024, after which he surprised fans through his Tell All appearance. As of December 2024, Sarper and Shekinah are still going strong. They recently hosted Hollywood’s 17th Annual ‘Babes in Toyland Christmas Toy Drive’ to benefit The Midnight Mission and walked the red carpet together as they look forward to ringing in the new year together.

Like Shekinah and Sarper, Statler and Dempsey were also a spin-off old, having documented their first meeting in Before the 90 Days season 6. Statler from Irving, Texas had found love in the UK, but Dempsey did not know that Stater wished to move there. Dempsey thought Statler was moving too fast. They also locked horns on the kids' topic, since Statler was adopted at birth and didn’t want to be a mother. Still, Statler and Dempsey were together at the Tell All where they revealed their van life plans. Statler was the only working member of the couple.
Statler did most of the heavy lifting when it came to finances. She also had to work while they toured Europe for over a year. Her being autistic and having ADHD was not something Dempsey took into consideration. They split after Statler found out Dempsey had cheated on her with a roommate. Statler also accused Dempsey of being a scammer and claims she still owes her over $20,000. Statler was uninvited from the Tell All and Dempsey also never made an appearance, leaving their storyline to have loose ends that social media had answers to.
Dempsey is back in England and was spotted working at a Christmas market in November 2024, looking miserable. She is dating a new American woman named Anayeli and Statler suspects Dempsey did it to get another spin-off. Meanwhile, Statler is still single and has recently launched her own podcast while earning sympathy from fans for what Dempsey did with her.

Sean ended up coming to the U.S. instead. He also has a green card, but Sean’s daughter is back in Ireland thinking her dad is in America on a trip. It appeared as if she wasn’t yet aware of her father’s marriage, just like Joanne’s dad, who didn’t know she had married Sean. Joanne and Sean are trying to figure out how to live together. They even have a joint Instagram account. However, Joanne is now considering moving to Ireland again, so it remains to be seen which country the couple will make their new home in the future.

Meitalia’s jealousy and James not wanting kids nearly tore them apart. James also struggled to get along with Meitalia’s sister, Angela. He wished to move back to the States, while Meitalia was stubborn and wanted to stay with her family.
James bought a ticket to America for himself while Meitalia was still unsure about it. James agreed to help Angela get a visa to the U.S. Meitalia didn’t think James would ever return to Indonesia again. The Tell All confirmed that Meitalia and James were together in America. Josh and Lily were also married after having met on a language learning app before signing up for 90 Day Fiancé. Josh quit his job to go live in China on a spousal visa. He would not be able to work in China for five years legally until he was able to procure a 10-year resident visa. However, once he went there, Josh became conscious of his wife being the breadwinner. Josh and Lily were getting married again, but just two hours before the wedding, the American man wished to cancel it.
They also worried about the wedding cost with Lily having to take a last-minute loan to pay it off. Ten months after the elaborate wedding ceremony, Lily announced that she and Josh were getting a divorce. Lily threw shade at Josh with her caption that said, “This is my husband, but from now on he is my ex” as she posted a montage of their sweet memories together. Lily accused Josh of shattering her dreams. She doesn’t know how long it will take her to recover from this failed chapter of her life.
