New bosun Ben struggles to navigate his new position, potentially putting the crew and guests in jeopardy as drama unfolds.
Below Deck season 11’s mid-season trailer revealed there will be some massive drama in store for the yachties, including one crew member potentially getting fired by Captain Kerry Titheradge. While Captain Kerry has already been responsible for firing one of his crew members, Bosun Jared Woodin, after he struggled with his role on the first several charters of the season, the St. David's exterior staff was left without a leader. Captain Kerry had just promoted Lead Deckhand Ben Willoughby to the Bosun position when the crew suffered a second loss. Cat Baugh, who had been working as a part of the interior team under Chief Stew Fraser Olender, has been struggling with emotional issues throughout the charter season. After explaining that her troubled past made it difficult for her to take criticism, Cat had a hard time dealing with the management style of the superyacht and chose to leave the crew. This left the St. David down two crew members, scrambling to deal with their guests.
As Below Deck season 11 continues, the season promises to get even more dramatic as things build for the yachties and the charter season continues on. The crew, though they're currently down a stew, has been able to pick up a deckhand moving into the next charter. While the crew is going to be back at full capacity within the next charter, things are only going to get more dramatic for the St. David crew members. While the crew is working at a deficit with some new members joining in halfway through the charter season, there have been some issues that have been building throughout the season. Barbie Pascual, who is currently working as the second stew aboard the St. David, had issues with Cat during her time aboard the superyacht that have led to issues with Fraser, as well. Fraser has struggled to deal with Barbie's superiority complex, and though he's brought his problems to Captain Kerry, things haven't changed.
While things with the interior have been tricky, the exterior crew has been dealing with some issues of their own. Captain Kerry promoting Ben has been an interesting story for the new Bosun, but things may change depending on how Ben does in the position. With new pressure surrounding him in his job and a budding boatmance with Deckhand Marie "Sunny' Marquis, will Ben be able to handle the stress aboard the St. David? It seems possible that he's going to put the vessel in jeopardy, judging by the mid-season trailer of the series. With Below Deck season 11 turning a corner into and making its stretch into the final episodes of the season, the crew members are going to be more tense and have more issues with one another as the season continues. Who is most likely to crack under the pressure, and who is least likely to end up fired by Captain Kerry at the end of this charter season?

9 Captain Kerry Titheradge
Captain Of St. David
Close
Although it's possible he could be removed from the St. David, it seems unlikely that unless something incredibly dangerous happens on the vessel, Captain Kerry will be fired from the crew. As the leader, Captain Kerry has set a tone for the crew members to go by, and it appears that throughout the charter season thus far, he's been doing a great job keeping his crew on track. Captain Kerry has been one of the most exciting parts of Below Deck season 11, especially after having dealt with a swap of Captains during the last season of the series. Bringing his own infectious energy and casual management style to the St. David, Captain Kerry has been a breath of fresh air for viewers who enjoy the crew's antics on the series. Without micromanaging, Captain Kerry has been able to effectively communicate what needs to happen and when, leaving the crew to do their jobs or suffer the consequences.
8 Fraser Olender
7 Chief Stew
Close
Although Chief Stew Fraser has been dealing with some issues during his time aboard the St. David, but his struggles have caused him to have some poor judgment as the leader of the interior team. Fraser, who has dealt with struggles with his stew Barbie throughout the season, has seemed to relax on the professional front as he's dealt with the issues surrounding Cat. With Cat gone, the mid-season trailer of Below Deck season 11 shows Fraser and Barbi's problems will be getting somewhat more heated as the season continues on. Fraser may be dealing with personal issues between himself and Barbie, but he's been letting them get in the way of his professional persona throughout the season, and moving forward, it appears things will be coming to a boil. For Fraser, it's unlikely that Captain Kerry would fire him for the issues between himself and Barbie, meaning Fraser is probably safe aboard the St. David.
6 Kyle Stillie
Deckhand
Close
Deckhand Kyle Stillie hasn't been featured frequently throughout the season yet, but it appears he may be making an impact moving into the second half of Below Deck season 11. Though it's Kyle's first season on Below Deck, he's been able to fit right in with the rest of the crew and do well working on the exterior of the ship. Kyle, who's been working hard with the rest of the deck team to keep the charter guests safe as they go on excursions, hasn't had many issues in his work. He's been good at his job thus far, and though he's had some interpersonal moments with now-fired Bosun Jared Woodin, he hasn't had any other issues with the crew. Though Kyle has shown some attitude here and there during Below Deck season 11, it's unlikely he'll be fired in the episodes to come unless he does something that puts the crew or the guests in danger.
5 Marie “Sunny” Marquis
Deckhand
Close
Another Deckhand facing a first season on Below Deck, Marie "Sunny" Marquis has been doing a great job keeping up with the boys on the exterior team with her. Sunny, who is originally from Canada and has been in the yachting industry for just a few years, has shared that she was nervous about keeping up with the boys club that makes up the exterior deck crew on a luxury superyacht. Sunny has been working hard to prove herself to the Captain and the crew to keep her spot on the team, and she's been doing well despite making a few minor mistakes early on in the charter season. While Sunny's been doing well in her work aboard the St. David, her boatmance with her fellow deck crew members could be an issue moving forward. In the mid-season trailer for what's to come on Below Deck, Sunny seems like she may be jealous of the new stew coming into the crew, which could impact her work. Either way, it appears that Sunny will be with the crew aboard the St. David for the long haul.
4 Xandi Olivier
Second Stew
Close
As the second stew beneath Fraser, Xandi Olivier has been able to successfully navigate the interior of the happenings aboard the St. David, but things may be changing as she works through the rest of the charter season. Xandi, who shared in a recent episode of Below Deck season 11 that she was previously married, has explained that she's great with the interiors of the superyacht. Xandi knows how to do the housekeeping role that a stew has to uphold well. She's great with the interior tasks that aren't guest-facing, but she's shared she's not as interested in being face-to-face with her guests. Dealing with the interpersonal issues between charter guests has been difficult on Xandi, but there may be some bigger interpersonal issues coming up for her in the rest of Below Deck season 11. As she deals with potential jealousy from Sunny because of her relationship with Ben, Xandi may face some bigger problems. Though it's likely she won't be fired by Captain Kerry, things could change quickly for the second stew.
3 Barbie Pascual
Third Stew
Close
Barbie, who has shared numerous times that she knows she's a lot to handle, has been working hard aboard the St. David on her first season of Below Deck. The third stew had some problems with Cat early on in the season, but after feeling like she was able to be empathetic to the issues the former St. David stew was facing, Barbie saw Cat's decision to leave the superyacht as the right one. Moving away from her problems with Cat, Barbie seems to have developed some minor issues with Xandi along with her pre-existing issues with Fraser. While her attitude can be a lot, Barbie appears to be able to work well under pressure and do what she needs to in order to allow the vessel to run smoothly. Still, the problems Xandi and Fraser have brought up with Barbie could be a major issue moving forward for the stew, despite her work ethic. It's possible that if Barbie isn't working well for Fraser and Xandi, Captain Kerry could make the call to fire her.
2 Anthony Iracane
Chef
Close
Chef Anthony Iracane has been an interesting part of Below Deck season 11, but his time on the superyacht may be winding down as he's run into some issues with timing and organization. Chef Anthony has been an integral part of the crew since the beginning of the season, preparing amazing and elaborate dishes for the charter guests. Though he's been a wonderful chef, there have been some issues that the crew has noticed with Chef Anthony's work. His time on the St. David has been scattered, as he's been dealing with some emotional strife due to the passing of his father and the end of his marriage. Though Chef Anthony has been able to work around his problems, his lack of organization and slow turnaround time have been a huge sticking point for the guests along with the crew. Fraser has done his best to work within Anthony's slower timing, but he's had to make excuses for the timing. Captain Kerry could fire Chef Anthony if his work creates strain for the crew or the guests.
1 Ben Willoughby
Bosun
Close
Though Ben has proven himself by getting promoted to Bosun amid the charter season, his time as the Bosun of the St. David may come with some major changes for the one-time Deckhand. Ben, who's been part of the Below Deck universe for the last season, has been able to handle the pressures of being a Deckhand and a Lead Deckhand in the past, but his time as a Bosun may be the most challenging time in his career thus far. Dealing with Captain Kerry's instructions hasn't been difficult for Ben yet, but it appears that in the upcoming episodes of the season, Ben may be making some dangerous mistakes that could put the guests and crew in jeopardy. If Ben does make an error in judgment that leads to the rest of the crew and the guests aboard the St. David being in danger, Captain Kerry would have definite reason to fire him. It's possible Ben could be the next crew member let go on Below Deck.
Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo, then streams the following day on Peacock.
