How To Unlock Every Dress In Princess Peach: Showtime!

Alongside Peach's new ensembles in Princess Peach: Showtime! there are also several cosmetic dresses for Peach to unlock and wear throughout the game. To unlock every single dress, players will need to, not only fully complete the game, but also complete some lengthy post-game tasks.

There are 40 different dresses, including the default one in which Peach starts the game. Only a few will be available initially, with the majority hidden behind specific levels and boss fights. Additionally, many of the dresses will still need to be purchased with the in-game currency once they are unlocked for Peach to be able to equip them.

Find The Ribboner, Defeat Bosses, & Complete Rehearsals

There are several different methods by which dresses will be unlocked. The first method is finding the Ribboner in Princess Peach: Showtime! The Ribboner will appear just one time in every show on every floor, but he won't always have a Peach Dress. When interacting with one of the stage shows, there will either be a ribbon or a bow icon underneath the Sparkle Gems. A ribbon indicates that the Ribboner of that level will have an outfit that can be unlocked for Stella, while a bow indicates that the Ribboner will have a dress for Peach.

Unlocked dresses will typically become available in the lobby shop and can be purchased for either 100, 300, 500, or 1000 Coins. The only dresses Peach will acquire automatically when unlocked are the Ribboner dresses. These dresses will appear directly in the Wardrobe inventory, not the lobby shop.

The other methods for unlocking dresses will include defeating the different bosses on every floor, purchasing from the shop in the theater lobby, and finishing a few completionist tasks. The dresses in the Lobby Shop will require players to use Coins which can be acquired during every stage in Princess Peach: Showtime! So it's important to earn as many Coins as possible while completing the various levels and finding all the Sparkle Gems.

Find The Ribboner in 10 Stages

The Ribboner will be hidden throughout every stage of Princess Peach: Showtime! and is often hard to track down. He will typically be hidden off to the side or inside of something, making it important for players to go out of their way to look for him.

If you complete the level without finding him, you will need to restart the level and complete it all over again to find him, so it's important to be on the lookout the first time around. He will make a noise asking for help when you're near him, so having the sound up can help track him down.

Defeat The Bosses of All 5 Floors

Once every stage on a floor has been completed, a door will appear in the center of the room leading to a boss fight. There is one boss per floor, each themed around different theater elements and enchanted by Madame Grape, who herself will act as the fifth and final boss of Princess Peach: Showtime!

Once each boss has been defeated, their associated dress will become available in the lobby shop for purchase. Since Madame Grape serves as the final boss, her dress will technically be available for post-game purchase.

Earn a Gold Trophy in Rehearsal

Rehearsals are mini-levels in which Peach will face off against waves of enemies for a limited time. Defeating more enemies and saving more Theets will result in a higher score and, while it isn't required to reach the gold tier of rehearsals for story purposes, it is necessary to unlock the associated rehearsal dress.

Not every costume will have a rehearsal stage, only costumes associated with more combat, including Kung Fu, Cowgirl, Dashing Thief, Mighty Hero, and Sword Fighter.

These tasks include collecting Sparkle Gems, finishing the story, and participating in a post-game challenge of Hide & Seek with Theets. Note that only 39 dresses have to be unlocked since Peach will begin with a default dress that makes up the final 40.

How To Change Dresses

Using The Wardrobe Tab

With either 2 or 40 dresses unlocked, players may change their dress at any time, as well as Stella's outfits. To do so, simply open the main menu and locate the Wardrobe tab, which will have a dress icon. Once in this tab, players can see every dress they currently own and can equip them.

To change your dress, simply select a different one and choose to wear it. You can also navigate to Stella's page by using the R-button and change her outfit as well. With 40 different dresses to choose from, players are free to customize Princess Peach in any way they please in Princess Peach: Showtime!
