Sethos is a new character confirmed to make his debut as an NPC in Version 4.6. He was initially cited in leaks as a playable character for Version 4.7, but before that allegedly occurs, he will appear in some of the new story quests in Genshin Impact 4.6, which were announced during the most recent livestream. This is the same patch in which Arlecchino will arrive.

For reference, Arlecchino is the Fatui Harbinger who has appeared as an NPC in several Fontaine-related Archon Quests, but now she is being put under the spotlight in her own unique Character Quest. Who Is Sethos In Genshin Impact

Character Is Confirmed To Be From Sumeru

Sethos is a new character from the region of Sumeru. When the first Sethos leaks in Version 4.7 arose, a lot of speculation about him went around, with some even hinting at him being the first Geo unit from the Nation of Wisdom.

Nevertheless, it seems like that is not the case. Sethos’ design was rumored to have white hair, but his official reveal during the Genshin Impact 4.6 livestream showed that he, instead, has long dark brown hair. Sethos also has a medium male body type, along with light green eyes. Sethos has a tanned skin color, much like Cyno’s.

When it comes to clothing, Sethos wears Sumeru-styled garbs that further indicate that he is from that region. The clothes are a mix of beige, black, and purple, and he wears an orange-colored mantle over his shoulders, which are thrown over his back as well.

Sethos has a fairly kind expression on his face, not looking too severe. His English voice actor has been revealed to be Zeno Robinson, as seen in a post made on the official Genshin Impact account on X (formerly Twitter).

Zeno Robinson is best known for playing Hawks in My Hero Academia, Gamma 2 in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and Goh in the Pokémon anime series in their respective localized versions. He also has an extensive list of performances in games, including the English version of Dee Jay in Street Fighter 6.

Even though more details about Sethos are still unknown, a combination of leaks and a player’s attentive eye has caught what type of Vision he holds. As seen in a post made by the user ukrisreng on Reddit, Sethos’ leaked body model shows that his Vision case dangles from the right side of his belt.

In the Version 4.6 trailer in which he is presented, Sethos has his hands on his hips, partially concealing the Vision. However, when looking from behind, it is possible to see that the carries a purple-colored item: Sethos has an Electro Vision in Genshin Impact.

As suggested by the patch’s trailer, it seems like Sethos is actually a rival who will dispute Cyno’s power. The 5-star Electro General Mahamatra has the power of the priest Hermanubis, which he summons in battles – this power was granted to him and is, quite possibly, directly linked to his Electro Vision and how that very power manifests itself in Genshin Impact.

Luckily, players should not have to wait too much longer to know the truth, as Genshin Impact 4.6 is scheduled to arrive on April 24.
