A Classic Teen Titans Vehicle Returns to Put the Batmobile to Shame

Summary Titans unveil a new and improved T-Jet, showing their commitment to saving lives quickly and efficiently.

After facing Amanda Waller's manipulation, the Titans continue to fight for humanity with their classic vehicle.

The Titans prioritize rescue missions over fighting villains, using the T-Jet to get people out of harm's way.

Warning! Spoilers ahead for Titans #8!A classic vehicle from the Teen Titans canon is back once more with an upgrade that makes the Batmobile look like an average car. With "Beast World" behind them, the Titans are ready to re-commit themselves to saving the world and they've updated a classic part of their lore to assist them.

In Titans #8 by Tom Taylor and Stephen Segovia, the Titans try to put the "Beast World" chaos behind them and resume their duties as the DC Universe's leading superhero team. A tropical storm is heading to Florida and the Titans are heading out to rescue as many residents as possible.

Cyborg introduces the team to the latest T-Jet and they arrive in Key West almost instantly thanks to Cyborg's Boom Tube technology. They set the T-Jet near a group of flooded homes and begin finding residents and bringing them into the safety of the team's vehicle.

The Titans' New and Improved T-Jet is the Perfect Addition to Their Mission

After Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Justice League disbanded and allowed the Titans to step up and become the new leading super-team in the DC Universe. Nightwing and his closest allies didn't take this honor lightly and began safeguarding and healing the entire world. Unfortunately, the Titans became quick enemies of Amanda Waller who orchestrated the events of "Beast World" to damage the team's credibility on the world stage. While the Titans managed to defeat Waller and save their friend Beast Boy, they're still dealing with the ramifications of Waller's manipulation.

The T-Jet is an aircraft the Titans have used periodically since their earliest days as heroes. However, this is the first time they've pulled out their classic vehicle since stepping in to fill the Justice League's shoes. The Titans don't necessarily need the plane since Cyborg can get them to and from places with his Boom Tube tech. But Nightwing and his friends have been firm that they aren't just here to fight villains, they're around to protect humanity. The T-Jet is well-equipped to get the Titans anywhere in no time and help them rescue as many people as possible.

The T-Jet Reflects What the Titans Are Fighting For

While the Batmobile is a great vehicle that Batman uses to take on some of the biggest threats in Gotham, the Titans are thinking about one thing with their T-Jet: Saving lives. Fighting evil is an important part, but the team is more concerned with getting people out of harm's way first. This new and improved T-Jet is fast, efficient, and most of all, built to help others. The Titans have had a lot of cool versions of their iconic plane in the past. But this latest model of the Teen Titans' aircraft is the best one yet.

Titans #8 is available now from DC Comics.
