A new Ogerpon Illustration Rare card for Pokémon TCG’s upcoming Twilight Masquerade expansion is an absolute necessity for fans of the Teal Mask DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Twilight Masquerade is a new set arriving in late May and will portray most of the elements from the first DLC for the Gen 9 titles. As such, it will feature several Pokémon, characters, locations, and other elements from the land of Kitakami, which Trainers visit when playing through the content. Of course, Ogerpon is the Teal Mask DLC’s mascot, so her presence is abundant.

Pokémon TCG: Twilight Masquerade set will be composed of two distinct Japan-exclusive expansions, one of which is called Mask of Change and the other is Crimson Haze. The Illustration Rare Ogerpon card for Mask of Change was revealed by Pokebeach, though it had not yet been confirmed for the Western market.

Now, a new report by Pokebeach confirms that the Illustration Rare will be the promo card featured in the Elite Trainer Box for Twilight Masquerade. The card can be seen in a post by Pokebeach on X, which highlights the creature in the center.

In Japan, the card comes as part of a promo pack that features a jumbo version of the same Ogerpon card.

The artwork for the Illustration Rare Ogerpon card in Twilight Masquerade is one of the best in recent times. The card showcases the Teal Mask DLC’s mascot in its most natural state, carelessly and joyfully running across plantation fields in Kitakami. In its hand, Ogerpon carries the titular Teal Mask. The artwork carefully balances its colors so that the Legendary Grass-type Pokémon is put under a natural spotlight created by the sunset.
