Purchasing all twelve pets in Stardew Valley, including bowls, totals around 980,000g.
Stardew Valley is an indie gem that has endured since 2016 thanks to a devoted fanbase and its dedicated solo developer. Its latest update, version 1.6, introduces a myriad of new features, notably the addition of new pets. As of patch 1.6, Stardew Valley now features twelve adoptable pets, with new variations for the pre-existing cats and dogs as well as an entirely new pet: the turtle. Because of the new patch, a player can now buy every Pet License available, provided they have the cash to do so.
Despite all the new, delightful additions to the game, there is one type of pet that stands out from the others: the iridium or "purple" pet variant. These new iridium pets are cute and unique, but they are also exceedingly expensive. The license for the Iridium Turtle alone is 500,000 gold, and that's without taking other expenses into consideration, like pet bowls. It is certainly a steep asking price.
Patch 1.6 has made many significant changes to Stardew Valley, including more convenient travel via feeding carrots to the player's horse.

Getting New Pets In Stardew Valley 1.6 Can Cost A Lot Of Gold
As of writing, only the Iridium Turtle can be bought. The Iridium Cat and Dog technically exist in the game, with some players modding them in using the pre-existing sprites, but there is currently no known way to get them. To purchase a license for a shiny, new, purple turtle, the player must already have a pet with maxed out friendship. The first pet is given to the player by Marnie, who will present them with a cat or dog.
Marnie will eventually send the player a letter, informing them of her new service where the player can buy Pet Licenses. In preparation for this, visit Robbin to purchase a pet bowl for each of the pets that will be bought. Note that normal cats and dogs cost 40,000g while a turtle will cost 60,000g. The iridium turtle is significantly more, but it is not the only new pet that can be bought, should a player not have the funds ready.
To buy every single pet in Stardew Valley, it will cost around 980,000g. The cost for all Pet Licenses will cost 920,000g, while the bowls for all twelve pets costs 60,000g.

More Pets Could Come To Stardew Valley In The Future
Everyone likes cute pets, and their especially popular additions to farm life sim and other cozy games. With Stardew Valley allowing the player to adopt twelve pets, there's the possibility that even more pet types will be added. Eventually, the Iridium Cat and Dog could be up for purchase, or someone will find the hidden secret to getting them, since their files do exist in the game. More base pets could be added to Stardew Valley too, considering that a White and Black Cat was added, as well as a Gray and Dark Brown Dog.
