An incredibly talented cosplayer has created an extremely realistic Helldivers 2 that looks like one of the soldiers has walked out of the game. Since Helldivers 2's release in February 2024, players have flocked to Arrowhead Game Studios' cooperative third-person shooter in droves to do their part for Super Earth, fighting off the bug-like Terminids and the robotic Automatons to bring peace and democracy to the galaxy.

Galactic Armory's impressive Helldiver B-01 Tactical armor got a nod of approval from the official Helldivers 2 X account, who exclaimed "Sweet Liberty!" and called it "superb".

Fellow X users also shared praise for the cosplay, with PhoenixSeven7 saying "he truly inspires Managed Democracy in all her glory" and LeZit_ commenting that it would be "perfect for a Helldivers TV series".

GalacticArmory took to the r/Helldivers subreddit to share images of their extremely faithful Helldiver cosplay, complete with a flowing Foesmasher cape as they recreated several of the dynamic emotes from the game, which went extremely well with other Redditors such as Xiladreonis saying it looked so real that Galactic Armory had to be careful they wouldn't get taken to an active front. blackdrake1011 agreed with this sentiment, stating that they did "the biggest double take" when they read that it was a cosplay and not a 3D model, saying it looked "ripped straight from the game."

Galactic Armory went on to provide some context on how they made such a detailed cosplay, replying to various cosplays. For the opaque visor in the helmet, they explained that it was vacuum-formed out of PETG and dyed black, and the armor itself was 3D printed, which took "about a week". They also posted a link to a 30-minute build video on their YouTube channel that broke down the full process further, showing that the armor printing was done with Bamboo Lab X1 Carbon 3D printers at a 16-layer height to get all of the detailing, and that it was such a large project that the whole team on the channel was brought in to work on it.

Galactic Armory's cosplay is certainly one of the best so far and its praise is extremely well deserved.
