Ben's unnecessary feuds with the cast on Below Deck season 11 could see his invitation to the next charter season in jeopardy.

Below Deck season 11’s polarizing stew Barbie Pascual has been vocal about her time on the St. David, and now she’s lashing out at Ben Willoughby for claims she doesn’t know what she’s doing. Throughout Below Deck season 11, Barbie has struggled in her relationships with Fraser Olender and Xandi Olivier, but her time with Ben Willoughby hasn’t been as rough. Barbie’s personality may be difficult to deal with aboard the superyacht, but her interior team hasn’t been able to complain about her work ethic, as she works hard on the St. David. With Ben getting critical, Barbie’s speaking up.

"I’ve been yachting for 6 years…I OBVIOUSLY know housekeeping and laundry."

In a recent Instagram story, Ben shared that he felt Xandi “is a chief stew off the show. She knows the interior department so well, she carried the interior team as Barbie didn’t know housekeeping or laundry.” While Ben also quantified his claims by sharing the interior “were understaffed and tensions rise quickly,” Barbie didn’t take well to his criticisms. She explained that “I’ve been yachting for 6 years…I OBVIOUSLY know housekeeping and laundry. Ben…put down your phone.” She commented that Ben has been “dragging the entire cast”, which many Below Deck fans have noticed in the last several days.

Ben Willoughby Keeps Creating Below Deck Feuds

Close

While Ben has been an integral part of Below Deck season 11, he’s created several unnecessary feuds in the last several weeks with the rest of the cast. First, after Captain Kerry Titheradge shared he wasn’t sure Ben would make it through the season, teasing a potentially dramatic storyline for the newly named Bosun, Ben called him out with an Instagram post claiming the Captain put his career in jeopardy. Ben then shared a post about his choice of Marie “Sunny” Marquis for the Lead Deckhand position and called the Captain and Dylan Pierre De Villiers out in his caption.

Ben has been shading the rest of the cast unnecessarily, claiming that others are coming for him and he needs to defend himself from the drama. It appears that Ben is struggling with the edit he’s getting on Below Deck season 11, as the editors have been calling him out for changing his mind or contradicting himself in past interview segments. Though Ben has every right to feel that the edit of the show isn’t an accurate portrayal of the charter season, the fact that he’s felt compelled to take that out on the cast has been difficult to understand.

Ben’s time on Below Deck season 11 has been interesting, as viewers have been learning more about him and getting to know his working style more than they did previously. While Ben has been involved in stirring the pot throughout the season, the fact that he appears to be more irritated at the series for their portrayal of him than he is about seeing his actions on screen says a lot. Ben’s attitude toward the rest of the cast of Below Deck season 11 is harsh, and could see his invitation to the next charter season gets lost at sea.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo, then streams the following day on Peacock.
