When Do New Episodes of Slime Release?
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime's new episodes are airing on Crunchyroll on the same day that they air in Japan. That means that season 3, episode 4 will debut on April 26, 2024, at 8:30 AM Pacific Time (11:30 AM Eastern). Because the episodes are being simulcast with Japan, they will initially be available only in Japanese with subtitles. However, the English dub of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 has begun airing, with the first dubbed episode debuting on April 19, 2024. That puts the dub only two episodes behind the subbed version.
What Happened in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3, Episode 3?
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3, episode 3 saw the focus return to Rimuru and Tempest, as they dealt with the fallout of Clayman's defeat. A number of prisoners and refugees from Clayman's fallen lands were taken in to become a part of Tempest, and the management of these new people has been a somewhat difficult process for Geld, among others. The episode also saw the completion of the peace treaty with the Kingdom of Falmuth, as well as the first installment of the reparations--a whopping 1,500 Stellar Gold coins.
As things got back to normal, a number of major characters made their first return appearances in season 3, like Benimaru and Gabiru, returning from their wartime assignments. Rimuru held a large meeting and informed the others of his plan to declare the entirety of the Great Forest of Jura to be his domain, which saw many in attendance looking somewhat uncertain. As it turns out, a large section of the forest that lies across the river wasn't under control of the Dryads, and had thus far had little contact with Rimuru. Incorporating this area may prove to be difficult.
Lastly, Rimuru declared that a festival was to be held to welcome those who intend to greet him as the new Demon Lord, leading to great excitement at the prospect.
Everyone Has a Part to Play in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3, Episode 4
As usual, the preview for the next episode is exceptionally vague, providing only the title "Everyone Has a Part to Play." Based on the manga, fans can expect to finally see the meeting between Hinata and the Ten Great Saints as they discuss what to do about Tempest, Falmuth, and the return of Veldora. The meeting will see the arrival of Reyhiem, the priest who worked with Falmuth during their attack and who was one of the only survivors, who's carrying a message to Hinata from Rimuru...
While episode 3 was indeed a peaceful episode, it's looking more and more like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is about to erupt into conflict.
