A soft reboot of the 1994 Australian TV program of the same name, Heartbreak High is a Netflix show centered on the faculty and high schoolers at Hartley. Although it's an ensemble show, the action primarily focuses on Amerie (Ayesha Madon) and Harper's (Asher Yasbinek) friendship turned rivalry in season 1. Season 2 opens with the school on fire and then backtracks to explain. Just another year at Hartley High.
