Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is revealing how Robert "Garrison" Brown’s beloved pet cats are doing after he passed away. In March 2024, reality TV show viewers read the news that Kody Brown and Janelle’s son Garrison, 25, had died of a self-inflicted gunfire wound. They soon confirmed the news via social media. His brother Gabriel had found Garrison dead inside his Flagstaff apartment. Garrison was described as a bright spot in everyone’s life. An irreplaceable part of the Brown family, Garrison adored cats. He had three cats: Catthew, Patches O'Houlihan, and Ms. Buttons, at the time of his passing.

Garrison had three cats he had adopted. Janelle shared several pictures of her son’s cats in a new Instagram post.

Janelle revealed that Catthew and Patches O'Houlihan are living with Logan Brown and Michelle at their home, while Ms. Boots is living her best life with Aspyn Brown and Mitch. Logan was Garrison’s older brother and Asypn was Garrison’s half-sister. She is Kody and Christine’s daughter. Janelle mentioned that it was “awesome” how they could continue to take care of Catthew, Patches, and Ms. Boots as Garrison would.

Garrison had shown off his new cat on Instagram just five days before his death. The newest addition to his home was Ms. Buttons. She’s nine years old and was on the line for euthanasia. Garrison had written that his “savior complex” couldn’t suffice while calling himself a “#crazycatlady.” Garrison was a proud pet owner. He documented his love for animals on social media. Garrison had similarly introduced Catthew to his Instagram fans in January 2022. He had even taken suggestions for names from his followers. Garrison adopted his second cat in December and named him Patches O’Houlihan.
Garrison’s obituary revealed that he was a jack of all trades and wanted to be a nurse because he cared about people and speechless animals.
Garrison was honored by the High Country Humane Animal Shelter. The Arizona-based organization had named their cat adoption room after Garrison and honored him for the love he had shown to the cats at the shelter and adopted them from there. They thanked Garrison for caring for animals with them and told him that they were going to remember him always. High Country Humane revealed how they saw close to 1,000 people who supported them when they raised a little over $25,000 in just two weeks.
Garrison was very passionate about senior cats. Janelle was brought to tears by donations that were sent to Ark Cat Sanctuary and High Country Humane in Garrison’s memory. Sister Wives fans had found a meaningful way to honor Janelle’s late son by donating to several animal causes which Garrison was passionate about. The generosity that fans have shown in Garrison’s name will help feed and care for over 150 homeless animals, thus proving the positive impact the Sister Wives star had on others, as he always strived to make everyone around him happy.
