The Mandalorian actress Ming-Na Wen, who plays Fennec Shand in the Star Wars Disney+ TV show revealed in a recent interview that she wasn't surprised by the Luke Skywalker twist during The Mandalorian season 2 finale.

Ming-Na Wen explained in an interview on The Sackhoff Show that she accurately predicted Luke Skywalker's shocking cameo in The Mandalorian season 2:

"Oh, I knew it was Luke. How could you not? The glove, the lightsaber, the R2-D2 that they painted like freaking green. I just turned to Jon [Favreau] and Dave [Filoni] and like, 'Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?' This is Plo Koon? I'm like, come on, are you kidding—it's R2-D2. They're like, 'No it's not.' I'm like, 'Yes it is.' They're like, 'No it's not.' And I'm like, 'Stop it.' They would not tell you, but I knew. I knew. That's why I was like freaking out. I was freaking out."

Although Ming-Na Wen may not have been surprised, most audiences certainly were.
