Finding the best Ash Wood farming locations in Genshin Impact is not too difficult, but if you start your search from a randomized point in the currently available Teyvat map, there will certainly be trouble along the way. Ash Wood is but one of the over 20 types of wood that you can grab from trees all across the map. Compared to some other types of wood, such as Cypress Wood, which has over 2,000 nodes across the game, Ash Wood is a lot more limited.

Its nodes sum 66, and they only spawn in a certain area. This makes farming a lot easier if you already know where to go – if not, it can be hard to find. By farming Ash Wood, you can craft all manner of furniture in Genshin Impact. For now, Ash Wood is used in 23 different recipes for furniture within the Serenitea Pot, and, while not completely necessary since the housing system is an optional piece of content, those invested in it may want the products that come from its mix with other materials.

Farm Ash Wood In Fontaine’s Beryl Region In Genshin Impact

There Are 26 Nodes Concentrated In The Area

As seen in the official Interactive Map on HoYoLAB, the first set of Ash Wood nodes can be found in the Beryl region, southwest of the Court Of Fontaine – it is represented by the island of Elynas. More specifically, there are 26 Ash Trees that circle the boiling water spring in the center of that island. To get there, you can teleport to the location’s Statue of the Seven and head south. When you see the Ash Trees, represented by their slim gray body and yellow foliage, you need to hit them to drop Ash Wood in Genshin Impact.

Use a melee weapon character to beat the trees for up to three logs. While in the team comp, Arataki Itto increases the odds of a party member dropping an extra log of wood by 25%.

Farm Ash Wood In Fontaine’s Erinnyes Forest Region In Genshin Impact

There Are 40 Ash Trees To Beat

As of now, the largest concentration of Ash Trees is in the Foggy Forest Path, a sub-area of the Erinnyes Forest region in Fontaine. In total, there are 40 Ash Trees that can be farmed. West of where the nodes start, there is a Teleport Waypoint, which should be the ideal place for you to head over to. Then, simply start farming your way up the path. Ash Trees are easy to spot due to their coloration, but they are mixed in with other types, so you may inadvertently end up farming some extra pieces of wood in Genshin Impact.

Trees refresh their drops after you hit 10 other trees, meaning you can concentrate your Ash Wood farming efforts on a single area rather than head over to both the hot spring and the Foggy Forest Path. Keep repeating your farming route, and you should have a large quantity of Ash Wood in no time.
