The #SaveStarTrekProdigy initiative was a resounding success, as Netflix acquired the rights to Star Trek: Prodigy seasons 1 and 2, with the option for season 3.

At Galactic D&I Con in Philadelphia, Kate Mulgrew, who plays Admiral Kathryn Janeway and Hologram Janeway on Star Trek: Prodigy, recounted how fans held "a fundraiser" and rented a plane to fly a #SaveStarTrekProdigy banner over Los Angeles, specifically the headquarters of streaming services like Netflix.
