Dead Boy Detectives stars George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri have revealed which characters from The Sandman they would want to have a crossover with in the future. The new fantasy series on Netflix takes place in the same universe as The Sandman, featuring a pair of teenage ghosts solving mysteries together. While the series stands on its own as a mystery show, it still has connections that place it in the same universe as creator Neil Gaiman's other adaptation.
Speaking with Screen Rant, Rexstrew and Revri, who play the main duo Edwin and Charles respectively, reveal which characters from The Sandman they would want to cross over with following the positively-recieved Dead Boy Detectives. Both actors have different answers to the question, while also explaining what such crossover scenarios would potentially look like. Check out what Rexstrew and Revri had to say below:
George Rexstrew: I would love to interact with Desire. I think Mason [Alexander Park] does such a good job with that character, and I think Edwin would be so uncomfortable. Jayden Revri: That's literally all that's going through my head is imagining Edwin and them together. I would choose Dream because I think Dream's energy, I know that is the way he is, but he stays at one pace, and I think having Charles around might lift his mood a little bit. [laughs]
