After two rounds of fantastic performances, The Masked Singer season 11's fabulous Miss Cleocatra was revealed to be legendary actress Jenifer Lewis, and she's now explaining why she was taking pain medication while competing on the show. As The Masked Singer season 11 Group B contestant Miss Cleocatra, Jenifer made her debut on The Wizard of Oz Night, singing a mystical version of "Stormy Weather." She followed that with a powerful performance of "Free Your Mind" on Girl Group Night. Jenifer ended her run on the show in the Smackdown versus Seal, during which she sang a jazz-infused version of "Waterfalls."

In an interview with EW, Jenifer explained that, when she appeared on The Masked Singer, she was still taking morphine because of an accident in which she fell ten feet off of a balcony in Africa and was seriously injured. Jenifer explained that the show called her just five months after the accident. She said, "I couldn't walk yet, and I was still on a little morphine … if you look closely when I'm sitting on the throne, you'll see that cat head kind of nod off a little bit. They were like, 'Take it off!' And I was like, 'Huh, what am I? Who's taking off what?' [Laughs]."

In addition, Jenifer shared that the reason she was a Cleopatra character was because "I knew I could be carried out on the stage because I couldn't walk." As The Masked Singer season 11's Miss Cleocatra, Jenifer entertained everyone with some phenomenal performances, but the backstory behind her appearance makes her journey even more inspiring. Jenifer is a survivor who once again proved that the Masked Singer is more than just a reality singing competition show. Throughout the years, celebrities have discussed how the show healed them in various ways, and Jenifer is another example of that. It's amazing to think that she'd had a horrific accident just five months before she took the stage, and then she blew everyone away with her dazzling performances.

Now that Miss Cleocatra has been eliminated from Group B, the remaining contestants, Gumball, Beets, and Seal, will compete during Soundtrack of My Life Night, which is also the Group B finals. Only one contestant will move on to the quarterfinals to compete against Group A's Poodle Moth and Clock and Group C's Goldfish. Because the panelists rang the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell to save Poodle Moth, and it can only be used once, there will definitely be a double elimination from Group B. Although Jenifer didn't make it to the quarterfinals, she raised the bar for future performances on the show. She's a shining example of the magical power of music.

The Masked Singer season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.
