REFINED SENSIBILITY ELEGANCE GRACE STYLE TASTE

She's got STYLE, she's got GRACE, she's a winner! Yellow was our second score for the day and it was an easy category to grab ahold of. SIGHT, TASTE, and TOUCH did their best to throw us off the correct answers but since we just couldn't find a fourth word to fit the senses-theme we knew it should be abandoned.

CATCH SOME RAYS BAKE BASK SUN TAN

We scored today's green category first today. It's an easy one, especially compared to the other available words. SUN and TAN were the first two that jumped out at us Then BASK caught our eye and it was clear the category had something to do with relaxing in the sun. A great start to a decent day.

Purple Answers: Revealed & Explained

NUMBERS WITH FIRST LETTERS REPLACES BY "S" SEN SIGHT SINE SOUR

There was zero chance we were going to solve this on our own. This was an absolute guess. Our brains simply said, "Well, they all start with S, let's try it" and boom, it worked! But a win is a win and you can't take that away from us. In fact, I shouldn't even be admitting that we didn't know what this category was, so scratch all that, I'm starting over.

Clearly, our superior intellect led us to this bombastic victory. We were bemused to see these, obviously altered, algebraic words. We quite literally laughed out loud at the ingenious effort put forth by the New York Times in their attempt to deceive our superior intellect. We appreciate the ruse, but the lilac category was far from insurmountable. Bagatelle!
