Clorinde may have special requirements for survival, suggesting a need for strategic team composition.
Players may reach high damage output with Clorinde's kit, but they may face challenges managing her health.
Details about Clorinde’s kit in Genshin Impact 4.7 have been leaked and the information provided hints at what will be a challenging gameplay rotation, even for some of the game’s best players. Clorinde is the Champion Duelist from Fontaine, the former escort to Lady Furina, and Navia’s old friend. The character has played an important role in the Fontaine storyline and is now finally confirmed as an upcoming playable character in Genshin Impact 4.7. She will be released in the same patch as Sigewinne and Sethos, both of which have been confirmed, too, though their order in banners is uncertain.
In fact, there is still a lot of unconfirmed information regarding these characters, from their ratings to their weapon types. These will likely only be clarified by developer HoYoverse during the Version 4.7 livestream, expected to happen in late May. Nevertheless, even as players are currently involved in Arlecchino’s recently released Character Quest in Version 4.6, there have been several leaks about Genshin Impact 4.7, and a new batch of leaks has detailed the kits for these three upcoming characters. Each of them has a noteworthy characteristic, but Clorinde seems to stand out with rumors of a challenging gameplay kit.

Clorinde’s Leaked Kit In Genshin Impact 4.7 Mentions Bond Of Life Mechanics
Arlecchino Was The First Playable Character To Use It

The entirety of Clorinde’s gameplay kit in Version 4.7 has allegedly leaked thanks to information obtained by Foul and shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. According to them, Clorinde’s Elemental Skill has her enter a state called Night Patrol, which changes her Basic Attacks to Electro-infused firearm Rapid Hunt attacks. This skill ends with Night Pierce. During Night Patrol, Clorinde is said to gather Bond of Life, the new gameplay mechanic that was first usable by players upon the release of Arlecchino in Genshin Impact. It’s worth noting, however, that Bond of Life is a tricky mechanic.
The leak mentions that Clorinde’s attacks change based on how much Bond of Life she has and, that if she is under a certain percentage, she gains more.
Clorinde May Be Reliant On Her Own Healing In Genshin Impact
Leaks Mention She Needs A High Bond Of Life Figure

According to Foul, Rapid Hunt has different effects. When the Bond of Life on Clorinde is equal to or greater than 100% of her Max HP, she is rumored to normally execute gunlance shooting attacks. When it is below 100% of her Max HP, these gunlance shooting strikes allegedly bestow a percentage of Bond of Life to her. This detail in Clorinde’s leaked gameplay kit for Genshin Impact 4.7 also mentions that the ammunition fired with Rapid Hunt’s gunlance shooting skill is capable of penetrating enemies and will deal additional damage to all enemies that it strikes in its path.

The final aspect of Clorinde’s leaked Elemental Skill is Night Pierce, which concludes the duration of the Night Patrol state. What it does is also determined by how much Bond of Life she has, as seen in the leak. According to the information, when Clorinde has 0% Bond of Life, perhaps by cleaning it, she performs a simple dash strike with her sword. When the Bond of Life is less than 100% of her Max HP, Clorinde is rumored to restore a certain percentage of her HP and increase the attack range and damage of her sword strike.
The leak says that when Bond of Life is greater or equal to 100% of her Max HP, Clorinde gets an even larger HP restoration effect and boosts the damage and range of her Night Pierce attack. What is noteworthy is that Foul says that Clorinde is incapable of receiving healing through other methods while she is in her Night Patrol state. This means that she may be mainly reliant on her own healing in Genshin Impact rather than restoration from a dedicated healer in team comps.
The leak also says that the amount of healing is partially converted into a percentage of her Bond of Life.
The curious aspect about this leak, so far, is that it seems like players will need to keep Clorinde with a Bond of Life equal to or greater than 100% since her best attacks are activated in this manner. Bond of Life is a tricky mechanic in the sense that it prevents direct healing until the debuff is cleared through healing effects – in return, it grants more power. With Clorinde in Genshin Impact, however, it seems like the Bond of Life figure needs to be extremely high all the time, and cleaning it through healing is not actually incentivized.
Clorinde May Need A Dedicated Shielder In Genshin Impact
Her Leaked Kit Suggests Constant On-Field Presence With No Outsourced Healing

If Clorinde is, in fact, reliant on her own healing rather than the assistance of a healer, players may have to change their regular strategy when building a team around her. With Bond of Life at a rate that is harder to clean and no other source of healing in what seems like her main gameplay mechanic, Clorinde is likely going to be vulnerable to enemy attacks. If she gets hit when using this leaked portion of her kit, she will be unable to instantly heal, so damage mitigation in Genshin Impact will have to come through other sources.
“If the high-risk, high-reward aspect of Clorinde’s leaked kit makes it into the final version, players may be looking at a character that deals a lot of damage but will push them to their limits.”
For now, that may mean using shields. With a proper shielder, Clorinde could safely subject herself to the risk of having a Bond of Life debuff on her with no access to healing through other characters, while also getting immunity to interruption while the shield is active. From what has been leaked in Clorinde’s kit, it is safe to assume that she will be at her best when protected by a shielder since she can heal herself if any damage eventually gets through. It is still a risky strategy since shields can get destroyed, but one that may pay off.
The same leak doubles down on Foul’s previous report that Clorinde has a Talent that makes her damage scale up to three stacks, much like the way Neuvillette does with his own Talent. If this is true, Genshin Impact’s Clorinde may be strong like Neuvillette, though that remains to be seen. It is worth noting that, even if the details in the leaked gameplay kit are true, they are still subject to alterations, so stats and even effects reported now may change before her release in the next patch.
Nevertheless, if the high-risk, high-reward aspect of Clorinde’s leaked kit makes it into the final version, players may be looking at a character that deals a lot of damage but will push them to their limits when it comes to proficiency with the gameplay systems. Aside from the rumors about Clorinde, Bond of Life may be growing even more since there are leaks about Sigewinne in Genshin Impact 4.7 that mention she will also use the mechanic to boost her powers.
