Greta Gerwig's Chronicles of Narnia movie has received a filming update. The upcoming Netflix project will be an adaptation of the legendary children's book series of the same name by C.S. Lewis, which was previously brought to the big screen in the blockbusters The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in 2005, Prince Caspian in 2008, and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 2010. In 2023, it was announced that Gerwig, who helmed that year's smash hit Barbie, had boarded the project - which was being split into two movies - as both writer and director.
