Steven Knight reveals his involvement and current progress on the Star Wars' New Jedi Order movie. Set after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the New Jedi Order movie will see Daisy Ridley's Rey Skywalker set out to rebuild the Jedi Order for a new generation. Alongside Knight and Ridley, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is confirmed to direct the upcoming movie following its announcement during Celebration: Europe in 2023.

With the New Jedi Order movie expected to begin filming in the near future, Knight addressed his involvement when speaking to NME. Confirming that he was penning the script, he was excited about joining the Star Wars universe. Check out Knight's full response below:

“I can tell you I’m doing it! It’s going well, yes. But yes, I am getting [into] that universe and it’s a wonderful universe. I love it. And it’s good people. Again, when you get to that level, you find that the people who are there are there for a reason.”
